  2. It's interesting the Bears tried to trade him midseason. I guess once the season had been flushed down the crapper, they felt the might as well try to get value for him. Hopefully we will get a 3rd round comp pick for him next yr.

    Peace

If we would have made that trade, I'm sure we would have gotten their 2009 draft 1st round pick.

  3. Oh, hey, that's awesome.    :( :pray  What a great conversation we're having!

    Do you have a point?

Yeah my point is that this statement:

Well...the question was whether or not Flacco has an "nfl arm". He does, as do all of those guys. It doesn't mean they can play in the NFL, just means they can make the throws.

Makes zero sense. If they can make the throws it means they can play in the NFL.

  5. So my guess is McFadden, Stewart and than Mendenhall. You are probably right that all three of those guys go in RD1 but are there any other under-classmen or other backs that could enter in and give a better shot at Mendenhall sliding into the 2nd?

Given tonight's performance I Find it unlikely but gosh darn was he impressive against USC (which has an awesome defense).

    Slaton?

  7. Agree:

I agree that Sam Baker is a reach at #14, but, I do doubt that he falls to the third unless his knee shows problems.

    Disagree:

    I am hoping for :pray

    Dixon

    or

    Flacco

in the second, but, I'd be content with Duke or Brian instead.

NOT Andre though, he feels like Brian Leftwich Part 2.

Lastly, if Duke or Brian were selected, I'd still like to see Dixon or Flacco taken and possibly both. :bears

  8. If those two offensive tackles are gone before we pick then we go Kenny Phillips and if he's gone then the best available player..

I agree w/o a doubt. Lovie and JA get criticized for sometimes taking the best player available but it works out pretty well for the most part, for example- Devin Hester, but with an exception to Daniel Manning. I think if Phillips is there when we pick we take him. That's just my gut feeling, although I still want an O-Line man, and I still feel that's our biggest need.

  9. Dont get me wrong, I love going to Bears games, but what a terrible game to go to. Its gonna be freezing and wet and neither team is really playing for much. The Saints still have a very outside chance I guess.

It's going to be 35 and cloudy? That's not that cold, and that's surely not wet.
