How did we even find out the last 2 opponents were Philly and St. Louis?
-
I hope so. I already hate New Orleans, so if they were to be considered a rival, it'd justify my despise for them even more.
-
we'd be lucky if he is there at 15th overall (where I project us to be picking)...
If we shift to a WCO, Jeff Otah is the tackle we need to draft... If we decide to keep the more traditional offensive scheme, then Clady is the guy we would go after...
I wonder if Ruben Brown would fit into the WCO, which typically uses bigger offensive linemen.
Clady and Long will go before him, and maybe even more. Therefore, I don't see 3+ linemen going in the top 15. Just my 2 cents there...
-
Where do you even get the idea we would be running a WCO? Because thats what McNabb runs? There are absolutely no signs pointing to us changing our offense.
I agree. Also, none of my favorite teams ever make the big signings or make the big trades (Sox, Bulls, Bears). Therefore, I see Atlanta grabbing McNabb and taking Long/Dorsey with their pick.

Wow, they don't have a game west of Houston. Talk about a major dissapointment, barring a trip to Chicago next football season I'm guessing I won't be seeing a Bears game in person.
Tough schedule though. The Jaguars are good, but I do like the Bears chances against the Titans (I think the speed of the D should be okay against Tenn). Than again a lot can change between now and next season.
I sort of agree. I think we could beat every non-conference team we play at home. Obviously, we'd have to get a QB and a much improved O-Line first, and maybe some help from cold weather.
Any predictions on what games we'll get on PrimeTime? I think if we get McNabb we'll play PHI on TNF, SNF, or MNF, and possibly JAX or IND.
BTW, I might try to go to the St. Louis or Indy game.
-
no, all 16 are listed... our other 2 opponents are the Rams and Eagles.
Oh wow, I didn't even notice. Where did you guys find that out at?
-
I wouldn't mind the 339 pound tank, Otah, from Pittsburgh in the 2nd or 3rd round.
-
Way to Bear Down Bobby!!
-
And BTW, if anyone notices there's only 14 teams- that's because the last 2 are based on corresponding finishes in the other 2 divisions in your conference that you don't play. You get one division in your conference, one division in the other conference, 6 games within your division (home and home).

Packers
Vikings

Away:
Falcons
Panthers
Texans
Colts

With one game remaining and the playoffs out of reach, I figure it's a good time to start looking ahead to 2008. What come first? The draft. Next? Who we play, and that's listed above. I think that's a pretty easy schedule with the exception of Indy, Jacksonville, and possibly Tampa Bay. What do you guys think of it?

Pax didn't get Skiles a go-to guy (Kobe) or a low post scorer (Gasol), so the blame should be on Pax, not Scott.

Uh, no.
You got it, pal. We'd have to deal our pick as well as Briggs, and maybe a 3rd round pick for MIA's 1st overall pick. But, I might make that trade...

15-0

You're the same person that thinks Benson is good and also thinks Orton is a #1 QB.
When it comes to football knowledge, you have NONE.
I don't think we ever said we think Benson is good, but you can't tell when he doesn't have an O-Line. You can get LT on this team and he would do just a little better then what Benson did.
Therefore, we do have football knowledge. Good bye now.
-
cause our OLine sucks.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
-
Get Faneca from FA, and draft an O-Line man with our first pick.
Oh, and whoever posted this thread, his name is St. Clair, not Sinclair.
-
And this is exactly why I would of just rather lost the game today. Oh well...
-
Me thinks Alex Brown needs to be a Bear agian next season! Yeah!
Lovie thinks otherwise.
-
should be 20-7 right now if not for Muhammad having worse hands then a stone statue.
Yeah. Good thing we still have him for what, 2 more years after this one? Joy.
-
I don't even know what if I want us to win, but watching Favre in this wind is pretty funny.
-
Resign Rex for 1-2 years, draft an O-Line man with pick #1, then another with pick #2, then a QB/RB with pick #3, QB/RB with pick #4, WR with pick #5, and the rest of the picks just get some more O-Line men.
-
Stop making excuses for Benson. You're sounding exactly like BearSox.
Why don't you two realize that he sucks?
Because we realize that sometimes it takes more then 2 years and an O-Line for a RB to be good. Idiot.
-
mate,
we got the 4th over all pick in the 1st round of the draft in 2005 and look who we picked....
and what a BUST he turned out to be..we seem to find better players in the later rounds IMO.
2 seasons in, and the one year he had an O-Line, he played well. Now, he has a tough year, thanks to the O-Line for the most part, and it's his first year carrying the whole load, and he's a bust? Tough crowd, Cedric.
