The title of Meyer's job was a guess by me. The fact that he will likely be joining the staff is something I'd bet on. It's not a 100% certainty, but yeah, I'd bet on it happening by Saturday at the latest. I've said it once and it'll come up again, I've been wrong before. You don't have to believe me.

Holt and Bates are also toast.

Cutler said he loves the hire and the person Trestman is. Trestman says Cutler is smart, athletic, and mature. He also said he can't wait to get his hands on him. Neither Cutler or McDaniels said any of that about each other back in 2009. I heard Tebow can pour a mean cup of water, and you know, that can come in handy as it keeps a bit steamy in Bourbonnais during the summer.

Right, sorry. I totally forgot Kromer got the OC/OL title, so yes, maybe he'll be the RB coach. I've read others say it'll be Hoke's job if Marinelli leaves, but I wouldn't be so fast to assume that. That's not saying it won't happen but I think it's far from a slam dunk.

I talked to my friend today, as I thanked him for the Trestman information. He let me in on another thing: expect them to hire Pat Meyer, who is the OL/Running Game Coordinator at Colorado State. There hasn't been a title given yet but expect him to be a RB coach or maybe the OL coach even. Sometime in December, he was hired by the Alouettes.
