I dislike Benson (and always have, it comes from a hate of Texas), and seeing him do these sorts of things just makes me feel like we wasted that pick last year. He's got an attitude problem, and if he doesn't fix it soon, he'll be in a boatload of trouble.

I know he's had issues with his achillies, but I can't remember if it was last year or the year before.

This deal sounds very appealing to me. Haynes doesn't have a spot to play on this team besides depth, and Lelie would fill a serious void at WR.

I think that has to do more with how bad Orton was, although I won't deny that Rex definitely brought something extra to the job.

Peterson is the equivalent as Pablo Ozuna. He's an ok backup, but he's far from being a starter.

At least it's not the knee. Still, this can't be good, and it gives Jones a upper hand to complain about his contract with.

Brian Griese is one of the best backups in the league if Grossman doesn't work out, but right now, it's Grossman's job to lose (and I think he'll succeed).

I don't like Hester. I don't know whether its the fact that he isn't good enough to play a position other than returner or because he went to Miami, but I just don't like him. Hell, its probably a combination of both.

Kalapse and Heads

Hopefully I'll be able to catch more Bears games this year now that I'll be living in the midwest, although seeing as how I'll be in Minnesota, I think I'll miss most, again, because of the Vikings. The ironic part is that if I was living here (NJ) during the season, I would be able to watch the Giants, Jets, Patriots, as well as the Monday night games, Sunday night game, and any others were aired nationally. Oh well, thats life I suppose.

I agree completely. Until the offense proves something, its hard to imagine the Bears being ranked that much higher (I think ~15 is about right) in any preseason polls.

My ideal answer would be keeping him and letting him split time with Benson, but if there's a reasonable trade offer on the table, it could be beneficial to trade him (really depends though).

I'm Alex and 18 years of age. I live in New Jersey until this fall, when I'll be moving to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities. I'm a White Sox fan first and foremost, while also supporting most other Chicago teams (Bulls, not so much... I stopped watching the NBA not too long ago). I enjoy hating on teams such as Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State in college, while bashing the Yankees covers baseball. I hate the New York Giants, along with most other New York teams.
