  1. "You believe" does not prove a single thing. Unless you know everything there is to know about everything...
  2. I read it, but until you get Urlacher or Brown to publicly admit they hurt him on purpose, its not proven. Get to work.
  3. I've grown to hate Griese for that reason, but I hate Benson for other reasons
  4. If Benson were to mature, or even learn how to read a blitz/pick up a blitzing linebacker (or anyone for that matter), I wouldn't be opposed to starting him. But right now, Thomas Jones is just as good a runner with the ball, and is ten times better at blocking.
  5. Grossman isn't a true Bear. Orton and Griese are. Vote for them.
  6. Griese would never say anything on the field. Neither would Orton. Clearly they are both better options.
  7. Yea, he SUCKED in New York against the Giants.
  8. Since when do rushing yards matter less in the fourth quarter? I am. When 80% of your carries are for less than 3 yards, you aren't having a good game. Sorry, thats just how I feel.
  9. 1 (assuming I remember correctly, I don't feel like looking it up now)
  10. How do you figure? Thomas Jones had a pretty solid game (99 yards, 4.3 YPC), and the only reason Benson's game looks better is because he has the touchdown, which isn't something Jones had a chance to get considering he wasn't in near the red zone on the drive where it was scored. Oh, ok. Yards in the fourth quarter don't count as much as yards in the first three... they are less important. I get it! Look, Benson had 2 runs that were over 3 yards. On 10 carries, only having 2 yards go further than 3 yards is horrible, and if that convinces you that Benson is the far superior back, then something is wrong.
  11. Its clear that Kyle Orton is the only answer.
  12. Bench Grossman.. he can't perform in tough situations.
  13. Are you joking? Did you forget the fact that he brought the Bears back against the Vikings in Minnesota, their main rival for the division title? Grossman has done a superb job this year, and has helped lead the team to a 7-1 record, yet now that the Bears finally lost a game, everyone wants to bench Grossman and put in God... er.. Griese. Please, show that you (meaning everyone who is being completely ridiculous about Grossman right now) have a memory that lasts longer than a week or two.
  14. I bought an orange Grossman jersey earlier this year, and will be petitioning for an Urlacher one for xmas (or even before then.. I might be too tempted before xmas)
  15. Unfortunately for you, this simply isn't true. He's played in every game this year with the exception of week 3 in Minnesota.
  16. This has been around for years, and its been bullshit for years, SI/ESPN/etc. just likes bringing it up at random times during the year.
  17. I would LOVE to grab Spaeth in the third round, I'm thinking he's a perfect fit for Chicago. And yes, I am a student at Minnesota, so yes, I'm biased
  18. I'd like to see the Bears take a TE, specifically someone like Matt Spaeth who can block well. Spaeth is a great size and is used to playing in a run offense, so he knows what to expect. Outside of that, yea, I'd like to see some youth on the o-line.
  19. That would be a pretty stupid move on the coaches part. No need to risk injury/fumbles with someone as important as Harris is at a spot like the goal line.
  20. MVP

Benson's got 48 touches, Smith's got 24. Also, its obvious that Bensons got the intangibles to make the opposing teams weak at the knees, preventing them from scoring more than a touchdown and making their defense prone to the Bears offensive attack.
  21. MVP

When Cedric Benson gets carries, the Bears win by double digits, and the opposing team doesn't score more than 7 points. What's your point? The Panthers record with or without him doesn't make it any more reasonable to put Smith on that list with 87 yards a game and only one touchdown all year.
  22. MVP

I voted McNabb, simply because without him, the Eagles would be screwed. I think without Rex, the Bears would still be a good team, although not nearly as good as they have been. Also, just out of curiousity, why is Steve Smith's name even up there? Some sort of joke?
  23. Already did Lets go Bears!
