  1. True, but personally, I don't think good players should be playing in preseason anyway.
  2. I don't think its a big deal. I mean, when was the last time LT played in the preseason? It's been awhile.
  3. Enjoyable article, its great to see this sort of thing written and see Rex and the coaches put some serious effort forth to fix this problem.
  4. I also hope he can learn to block and become a better all-around back, but he does do a good job moving the pile.
  5. I think you're hilariously wrong (that the team is 'unbeatable'), but at least you're on the right side of the spectrum.
  6. I think they probably have to be pretty strict about it, mainly because most of the members of these TalkChicagoSports sites are Sox fans, and do, although I still don't understand it, hate the Cubs more than any other major league team.
  7. Not quite. Lovie never bashed the Bears organization, and never claimed that he'd never coach another game for Chicago. That turned me off of Briggs, and for that, I can't cheer for him.
  8. I'm not sure if I'd boo him, but I sure as hell wouldn't cheer for him.
  9. I like it, but its not Bears related
  10. Well, its fantasy football season already, and being the uncreative person that I am, I need a name. Of course, as a Bears fan, I need something related to them, but also not "Da Bears" or something of the sort. Any suggestions? (I'm currently at 'Keep it Griese' for the reference to the song 'Keep it Greasy', but since I don't like Griese, I'm open to new ideas)
  11. Urlacher receives much more attention than Briggs does, and if you ask anyone in the game, 11 out of 10 people would take Urlacher over Briggs any day of the week, so I don't quite know what you're talking about there. I'm one of the people that think that Briggs is a good player, but is also a product of a system which has the best linebacker in the league featured prominently in it, leading other teams to focus less on those around him. Let me say it again, Briggs is good. But hell no, he doesn't deserve more money than Urlacher, which is what he wants. Before Lance's whining about his contract, I had nothing against him. He seemed like a nice guy, and did a good job on the field. However, now that he's gone out of his way to bash everyone in the Bears management and front office, well, I have no respect for him. You can like it, you can hate it, but it's how I feel. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2947774
  12. Let's not. I know I don't want someone like he's turned out to be on the team.
  13. I think its getting overblown. It's like saying "If we had Peyton Manning, we'd have won the Super Bowl." Of course you'd have won if you had one of the best QBs in the league and the rest of the Bears last year.
  14. No. He'll want too much money, and will want to start. Plus, he sucks.
  15. I agree, but I don't want to see a Penn State with Derrick Williams situation. They put him in the backfield on some plays, and literally every time he's there (or at least, almost everytime he's there), they give him the ball.
  16. Great news, he's horrible on defense. I hope that the Bears are smart enough to run plays where he's in, but doesn't get the ball. Otherwise, it'll be pretty predictable...
  17. Probably better than him as a CB...
  18. You forgot "Missed blocks leading to a Grossman injury"
  19. And thats who we drafted. Am I missing something?
  20. So it seems I'm not the only one with a really aching head this morning...
