The Cardinals select Joe Thomas, OT, out of Wisconsin. The Cleveland Browns are on the clock...
-
They are all yours. That was your original team anyway...
-
Since we have a long time until the draft, there is no time limit for the pick.

Sorry guys, just got home a few hours ago. I'll get this up and running soon...
-
Here is how it will work. There will be an official thread where picks will be made. The format is as follows... "With the ___ overall selection, the ________ select Player, Position, School. The ________ are on the clock..."
-
What aren't you getting here? Thomas Jones was in a lose-lose situation essentially. And mainly because of Rosenhaus. On one hand, he stays, gets his carries decreased, becomes the back-up to Benson, and has no trade value. On the other hand, he requests a trade so he can go to a better situation, and his value is decreased anyway, and he comes off looking a bit bad for requesting a deal. But in this case, I side with TJ. He was a great team leader and played extremely well with the pressure of a young RB behind. He didn't go and complain to the media like Briggs, instead, he did it the classy way and leaves under pretty good terms.
-
It's too bad this wasn't JA's call. This was all Drew Rosenhaus. You're making up all these excuses for why Cedric Benson could be great or would have been great. But where was he when Thomas Jones was injured? He had plenty of opportunities to prove himself there and win the starting role outright, but he didn't. And no one is judging him based solely on the Super Bowl.
-
The picks that have been traded are being updated now...
-
Oh, so he wasn't pissed already? Give me a break. Benson has done nothing to earn the starting RB spot. Angelo took a big dump on TJ when he drafted Benson. What did TJ do? He shut his mouth and played football, and did a damn great job too becoming a team leader. What did Benson do? Hold out, get a big contract, complaing about playing time, and fumble in the Super Bowl...
-
I hope he wins MVP next season. God I love TJ.
-
We all know you love Benson but he has yet to prove anything. This is hardly the perfect time. Why trade a proven RB who will get you 1000 yards (much more if he's healthy) and give way to a young unproven RB with a bad attitude? The Bears really pissed me off with this one. Jones was a team leader, vocally and on the field. Benson will give you neither. I like Benson, and I think he'll be good, but this trade is just, wow/ Look at it from the Jets perspective...move down 20 some spots by get a starting RB. Jeez. The Jets fans will love Thomas Jones, and I wish him the best of luck. I hope he runs for 1700 yards next season. TJ got so much shit from people here that it was unbelievable. TJ runs for 100 with 2 TD's but we should have given Benson the ball more. Sheesh.
-
You've got to be kidding me.
-
OK guys, the official Mock Draft will be on the 10th of March, the Saturday after next. So get your Big Boards ready and prep the War Room...
-
I don't know where you get these assumptions because no one can tell. We haven't seen him on the field at all. And if he is fast, the injuries will definitely slow him down. Also, what's wrong with Berrian? He's isn't a "real" deep-threat?
-
4 years, 22 millions. Nice to see Lovie locked up.
-
Anyone in the Top 3 interested in moving down to the #5?
-
Hardy Nickerson was a helluva linebacker, I like this signing a lot. And like stated, he has history with Lovie Smith.
-
Well, the majority voted no so this will be strictly draft with any GM only being able to trade current (this years) picks. And yes, the Browns won the coin flip so they posess the 3rd pick and the Buccaneers will pick 4th.
-
Since February 4th, I hate the Bears.
-
I'm with the majority. Let's keep it a mock draft and just that.
-
Yeah, we're going to keep this strictly draft. You can only trade picks and/or draft rights. Future picks are game as well. And for the 3rd and 4th picks, we'll have a coin toss a few days before the draft.
-
No we won't. Rivera wanted to blitz more, but the Cover 2 doesn't allow it, and Lovie runs the Cover 2. We will see less blitzing and more pressure on the D-Line to get to the QB.
