Favorite Alcoholic Drink
I lean on beer, especially during games...and ends to be something fairly light. Andywhere between Stella and Miller Lite depending on what's on sale! But, if I'm looking to steer clear of the carbs, I go with Cutty Sark and soda... After the game, I kick back with a ciagar and a single malt scotch...usually Lagvulin.

Bears @ Vikings 11-30
This game will be tough and it will be close. I fear the Rams game was a tease. I'm not sure our defense has found itself yet. This will be a true test. What the heck, someon'es gotta win, it may as well be us! Bears 24, Vikings 23...

Marinelli to Tampa?
I'm pretty sure Babich will be gone too. I'd have been OK w/ Marinelli over Babich, but in all honesty, anyone with skills from somewhere other than the Smith tree...I'd prefer.

Marinelli to Tampa?
BUCS LOSING MONTE? Posted by Mike Florio on November 28, 2008, 11:10 p.m. Although it now appears that Buccanners head coach Jon Gruden won’t be heading to Knoxville, Tennessee, one of Gruden’s top assistants could be. In conjunction with reports that former Raiders coach Lane Kiffin will be the next coach of the Vols, rumors are intensifying that he’ll hire his father, Monte, to run the defense. There were rumors a year ago that Lane Kiffin wanted to bring his dad to Oakland. Though the rumors were denied at the time, Raiders owner Al Davis gave credence to talk of a possible Kiffin kin arrangement during his epic September press conference announcing the chapter-and-verse details regarding Kiffin’s termination for cause. Monte Kiffin , 68, joined the Bucs in 1996, when Tony Dungy became head coach. If Kiffin leaves, he could possibly be replaced by Lions coach Rod Marinelli, who likely will be fired after the season ends. If not sooner.

Vasher on IR
BEARS PLACE VASHER ON IR Posted by Mike Florio on November 29, 2008, 1:19 p.m. If the Chicago Bears are going to return to the postseason in 2008, they’ll have to make it happen without starting cornerback Nathan Vasher. On Saturday, the Bears placed Vasher on injured reserve. The team announced the move via e-mail several minutes ago. Vasher has a broken hand. Recently, coach Lovie Smith wouldn’t comment on whether the injury would end Vasher’s season. To fill the spot created by the move, the Bears promoted fullback Jason Davis from the practice squad to the active roster.

Time for the no-huddle offense
You may be onto something there...however, their D is certainly much better than the Rams'

Time for the no-huddle offense
I'll make sure to do that next time I get invited with press passes and a VIP sticker... That's about the silliest comment I've just about read on this board. We take pock shots at every player known to man on this board, but yet, you take up for the Cowboys and the only NFL team with a racist mascot name? Please, read into these comments as if done by a comedian... You think Denis Leary goes around to every single person he makes a joke about and awaits their approval or a potential beat down? Some have mentioned various players wear panties, etc... you want them to await Urlacher punching them in the face or something too? C'mon...take this for what it is.

Not that it needed to be said but...
It's almost sad. Almost.

Good and Bad of GB/NO game
I'm old! But my storytale ended a lot better!

Time for the no-huddle offense
Connor, I think you're missing my point. I love wins...any kind. But if they do what they did in the 2nd half against a quality oponent, we more than likely will not win. Beating the Rams like that is like giving props to the worst NBA player in the league socring 50-2 agasint a 12 year old. He should beat that kid silly, but let's not htink that all of a sudden he can handle LeBron with ease. Agasint Minny, we did have a good offensive game. However, that was then. We need to do it again. The odds are not in our favor. Especially on the road agasint a very good defense. We need to open the playbook up and mix things up. I'm not 100% sure Turner will do that. If we can repeat what we did in STL agasint the better teams in this league, I'll be happier than a pig in slop!

Vasher has a fractured hand
Unofrtunate. WHile he wasn't playing great...we definitley lost some depth.

Urlacher's son in Cinderella diapers and painted toenails?
It's a nasty custody battle. While I really don't care as long as no one is abusing the child...I tend to think she's making it up... Unless there's more to those new Old Spice ads than Brian's letting on...

Time for the no-huddle offense
I honestly could not have remotely put it better. You completely summed up the general frustration with this staff...

Time for the no-huddle offense
Smith and Turner deserve critique. How do they get a pass for only being successful for half a game? It's 4 quarters...and we cannot let up at any point on any team better than the Lambs.
-
Time for the no-huddle offense
How about also running the offense for all 4 quarters... Last game we tanked it after getting th lead in the 1st half. I'd like to see more outside the box plays even when we're ahead... I give no quarter to any of our coaches...

Time for the no-huddle offense
Ron Turner (RT): Lovie, let's run the no huddle. It always gets a lot of yards and energizes the team. Lovie Smith (LS): Hmmm...the Vikes are probably expecting that, let's not run it. RT: Maybe they'll think that we'd like to run it, but won't and will be prpared for us not to run it. LS: Hmmm...maybe we run it becasue they might think we'll run it, trick them into thinkng we won't run it, but will actually run it. RT: I didn't think of that. But...hear me out...what if we don't run it because they think we'll run run it, but be tricky by not running it, but really wanting to run it and in the end we don't run it. LS: That makes sense to me. RT: Me too. LS: We're good aren't we? RT: The best!

Good and Bad of GB/NO game
Ha! True enough! I think everyone just recalls the falling snow when the Anaheim Rams came into Soldier in '85...
- Vote for Forte

Time for the no-huddle offense
Don't overthink it! Then you'd be doing what our coaches normally do!

Came today
Ryan's gonna get ROY...unless drastic things happen these last few weeks. Go Forte! Time to beat Peterson's single game rushing record!

Good and Bad of GB/NO game
Agreed. But over the past few seasons, we've not had a large home field advantage in the cold. Hopefully, Bear weather will mean something good for us on the tail run...
