Ok.. not Bears related, but we had a discussion at work about college bye weeks. Do the conferences determine the bye weeks for each team? We noticed some teams always have a bye week before facing each other, and some are just random.

They signed him for dirt cheap. Geez.

Honestly this is one of those games that I don't think the Bear will be competitive no matter who plays.. hope they prove me wrong..but I just don't see it.

Looking at the physical size and combine stats of Shea and Urlacher.. they are pretty close.. would moving him to the middle help?

Ha... I showed my son a picture of the new coach and he said " oh geez.." He does seem to have passion and it will be nice to see someone on the sideline that shows it.

I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow and wasn't going to watch much if the game, thinking we would loose. Now that smith is out, things just got interesting. Now I'm going to be packing at midnight!

ok... this looks really good on paper... only problem is that we are the Bears and with our luck, Webb will play and turn out to be the next coming of John Elway and we get throttled.. But I hope we beat the dog crap out of them..
