  1. I really like this kid. To think hes already this good and hes only been playing position for couple yrs.
  2. Exactly look at teams like jax. Teams like this actually hurt the overall play of the game
  3. I would argue that none of the players here are finished project. If they were i would be scared
  4. Im not surprised that we aren't last but just imagine if the line was just avg what forte and Cutler can do. Forte already avgs over 4 ypc with that line
  5. If we switched to a 3-4 then i hope the 3 down lineman could create enough pressure where they don't need to bring extra rushers. This would allow more ppl in covg to shut things down
  6. We don't blitz using LBs all that often doesn't that play into it
  7. He has said since he got hurt when he was with us that he wanted to coach and its been said that harris helped teach wright and conte while he was hurt
  8. A cover 2 may not be sexy but it works best when front 4 get the pressure which allows the LB and secondary to do what they do. Does it really matter how u get pressure as long as the D as a whole performs at high level
  9. I wouldn't say an aberration as this D has always feasted on turnovers since lovie took over. I would say aberration if this was 1 time but it's not.And let's be completely honest how many ppl really thought back in camp this was a SB winning team. I know i didn't
  10. Yup neither made team which makes that grade even less favorable
  11. U also knew that as teams in 2nd half were much tougher. I.e SF and hou
  12. McCoy and frey were cut during camp last yr. They didn't make team
  13. Im not saying stand pat and wait for it crumble my lord. I want to continue at least another yr before making that type of switch. We have a defense that can win now so it seems foolish to completely switch it right now
  14. I would love to get both Johnson and warford but i dont see warford falling to us in 2nd unless we trade up to grab him
  15. My overall point still remains the same. If it ain't broke don't fix it
  16. Because i still can if i want. Sorry but im trying to be the voice of reason here where a person is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. I know its so un American these days
  17. Sorry in my world i prefer to have ALL the facts before passing judgement on ppl
  18. I think someone will give him that $10M a yr avg. But won't quite get Thomas's deal
  19. According to profootballtalk.com Jake Long is looking for at least $10 million annually. That would put him up there with dude from Cleveland as highest pd LT whose deal was 7 yrs $84 mil with $48 gtd. How many are willing to give that to him knowing hes had injuries for past 3 yrs now

    Take your pick

If I'm not mistaken i think 2014 is when we will actually see a good sized increase to the ca. I think that's when alot of the major tv deals and such for the NFL take shape
  21. No team in any era using any scheme has ever had more than 9 so pardon me if I'm skeptic on this. Personally i look to stay using same scheme for a couple more yrs as there is nothing wrong what we have been doing plus how about the saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it"
  22. More dynamic than 9 defensive TDs? How many teams have been more dynamic than that lol
  23. We need a starter at NT 1st don't u think. No team can make a dramatic switch like that and not have a dropoff. Plus what's so wrong with what we run. They did pretty good last yr dont u think
  24. In what i read he didn't even mention any QBs im guessing cuz we aren't likely to draft 1 near top of draft
