  1. White hasn't even been on the field. It was very telling both times when Miller went down the next man up was Bellamy. Makes me wonder what is going on that he can't even get on the field if he's not injured

That was sick. Can't remember last time I saw a stiff arm quite like that
  3. We survived today. The defense really stepped up and played great after the 1st qtr and the offense did just enough. I will say that cards defense can't get off the field to save there rears. Way to many unforced errors which gave us the game along with the defense having another 4 take away day. From what I'm seeing so far trubisky looks good when the pocket is clean and he's got time but he's very uncomfortable with any type of blitz. That's the part of his game he has to work on the most in my opinion
  4. Yeah he does. Can't seem to get out of his own way
  5. Mack baby. Huge opportunity again for the offense. Must come through
  6. Momentum is shifting especially after the mcmannis pick. This would be huge to see trubisky come out and take over now with a Td
  7. Wow there is life after all. Huge pick by Jackson and then trubisky finally hits a big throw to Robinson and in stride. Still not a fan of the offense but they need to come through
  8. I love how this defense has responded after a bad 1st qtr. If we are going to win we need them big time to pitch a shut out here in the 2nd half
  9. 6 chances from goal to go and we only get a damn FG. I do put the blame on play calling as well as Tru. We are lucky to still be in this. Thank God for a defense giving us a chance
  10. Good Lord we look like garbage today
  11. It's official both Vikings and Packers lose. Big time opportunity for the beloved to step up here and take control of the division
  12. Yeah it would. Imagine all the talk if we thump AZ. Instead of hearing how Rodgers destroyed us on 1 leg they will change there storyline to how it took a miracle comeback and we could be 3-0

It could be bad for either QB if we can get that pass rush going again lol
  14. Bring home that W and let us know how it was being. It's been a very very long time since I've seen any of the teams I cheer for all across sports in a road game. I'm hoping next yr to get the wife and I up to see a Cubs Brewers game in Milwaukee. Bring home the W and then I'll do what I can at next week's game

Don't we normally on weekly basis considering the last time he lasted a full season was his 3rd season lol.
  16. I like the phrase "beat the teams we are supposed to". Now step back and read that over the over while thinking about how bad we have been at doing just that prior to last week lol. The entire time fox was here did we even when 1 game that we were supposed to lol. I honestly don't think so. And so just because we won last week against a team we were supposed to doesn't make me feel all of sudden great about this yr. Now with that said I am extremely curious you see how this handles a team we should beat coming off the W last week. Obviously the defense is getting better and I saw more bright spots on offense last week. Now let's see what they do after half time. I'm thinking we get off to another good start and at half time the Cardinals bench Bradford and go to Rosen. How will the defense respond to seeing a guy they probably did spend much time scouting
  17. Yeah I have a subscription to the athletic and I think Durkin did a great write up about it as well. That was a fantastic drive and defense was constantly on there heels
  18. Yeah I completely forgot about him. I remember seeing him flying around every where but hadn't noticed he had 2 sacks. Every play mack was constantly fighting off 2 and 3 guys which really opened things up for everyone else
  19. I'm looking at week 5 as the point when the defense should all on same page and have there legs under them. Defense already looks just crazy good and mack is a downright beast which is freeing up everyone else. Mack had a great game yet trevathan kind of went unnoticed as a whole. And he walks away with the defensive player of the week award. I didn't even realize he had 2 sacks lol. Probably because I was so focused on how much mack was constantly getting either double or triple teamed on almost every play. And now there's reports that Floyd is looking to shed the club or at least make it smaller

I'm still sticking with 8. 9 wins tops right now.
  21. I'm honestly not as down on trubisky as many seem to be. Very few QBs are franchise guys the second the step into the NFL. For most it takes time to develop them. Look at big ben. Those 1st several years they won inspite of him. He wasn't a franchise guy but he certainly grew into one with enough coaching he became very good. And now the only reason they win games is because of him and that offense. With trubisky I see the progressions he's making. He's going through his reads nicely and he's generally making the correct read. Right now his biggest flaw is accuracy especially that 15+ yds down field. Like the underthrown ball that was picked. He made the correct read. Single coverage on the outside with our best WR out there. He just underthrew it. Or the Gabriel play on the left. Wide open streaking across the field 18 yds down. Correct read just over threw him. Don't we kind of expect growing pains like this when everyone is brand new. Tru has never played with any of these receivers before and to add to it everyone is brand new to this system. So I at least expect pains. For now he's been good enough to get by. So I'm optimistic
  22. The offense is still very much a work in progress and we might not see what it's fully capable of until mid yr. I can always hope for 2 weeks when im there lol. The defense seemed to lose there edge. Like last week they were gassed in the 2nd half but the big time pick 6 really sealed things up. But that front 7 is downright scary. Can't wait till everyone is good to go fully
  23. I'm not impressed by our DBs. To many times I see them running down field and they never turn there head around. If fuller is looking back he at least breaks up that TD
  24. I hope trubisky can reign it in some in the 2nd half. To many mistakes and huge risks. He's lucky to not have 3 picks. Thank God for this defense. The Seahawks oline can't even pretend to block them so far
