  1. I thought Jonathan Anderson and John Timu both did well last year when pressed into duty and Christian Jones can play there.
  2. First blemish for Pace, IMO. I don't care how much you love a guy, why trade up for a non-need?
  3. I'll take Dak Prescott, Harlen Miller, and Jerald Hawkins in the 4th.
  4. Bears do still have a hole at swing tackle. Maybe Kyle Murphy or Jerald Hawkins are considerations?
  5. Pace's BPA approach doesn't lend itself to prediction, but I'm thinking we see QB, RB, and DB in the 4th.
  6. Serious question:Is Whitehair our best swing tackle at the moment?
  7. A potential Leno/Whitehair/Grasu/Long/Massie line has an average age of 24.6.
  8. Saw some rumors earlier today that Bears were trying to move Houston or Young. Now could see Slauson on the block too, which might mean even more picks tomorrow. Could be wild. Pace certainly wants to put his stamp on this team.
  9. Jacoby Brissett just went before Conner Cook.
  10. Bears got two guys pegged as 1st/2nd round picks today and picked up 3 4th round picks for their troubles. Works for me.
  11. Reunite the Fuller brothers?
  12. Bullard! Can be immediate starter at DE. No one would have blinked if Bears took him at 41. Reminds me of Alex Brown.
  13. I would not be mad at Conner Cook in the 3rd.
  14. All I ask is for a good player at good value. This checks those boxes.
  15. Three picks to the Bears. My board would be Alexander, Bullard, Bell.
  16. People were mad yesterday when we traded a fourth to move up two spots in the 1st. Now everyone's mad we got 3 4ths to move down 15 spots in the 2nd.
  17. Bears nab another 4th to move down 7 spots.
  18. Titans take Henry. Some here are happy, some here are sad.
  19. Apparently Bears tried trade up to Dallas pick. Wonder if they targeted Jones and when he was gone they traded down.
  20. Maybe. One thing that Pace said at his press conference yesterday that stuck out to me was that they really value arm length in all positions. Ramsey was near the top of the class at the combine at 33 3/8". So I wonder how good a fit MacKensie Alexander or Kendall Fuller (both under 32" arms) are under the Bears' apparent philosophy. The other CBs with arms longer that 33" from the combine are Artie Burns (taken), James Bradbury from Samford, and Daryl Worley from West Virginia. There has been some speculation about Bradbury being a 2/3 round pick, but most peg both those players for the later rounds. For those interested, safeties at the combine with arms over 33" were Deiondre Hall from UNI (34 3/8") and Jayron Kearse from Clemson (34 1/4"). I don't know if that means anything, but I don't think it means nothing. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19f2...1#gid=889509024 By the way, the OT with the longest arms at the combine is still on the board (Le'Raven Clark).
  21. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade down in the 2nd or 3rd. Some teams are apparently trying to move up and get a QB, and there are so many DL left on the board that I think we can get a good one in he middle of the 2nd or even the 3rd.

I can definitely see it being Jones, but man that makes me nervous. That would be our first two picks on admittedly explosive players without very impressive college production.
  23. I'm not a huge PFF guy, but wanted to pass along their scouting report on Floyd: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2016/...oyd-lb-georgia/
  24. McShay said as much on SportsCenter - they were thinking Conklin or Floyd would be there, but the Titans and Bears knew that, traded up, and the Giants scrambled for Apple.
  25. Should be one of Robinson/Reed/Ogbah/Dodd/Jones there in the second, not to mention Bullard and Calhoun. Any could probably slot in as a DE starter (though some are better 4-3 fits).
