My disdain for Martz has been well documented, so I wont go into detail. But to me, if as a head coach you have to sit down your OC during the season to stop him from calling an unbalanced gameplan then there is a problem. if your OC is blatently ignoring you during a game, its grounds for a firing.

Amen. I have been saying this forever. Good OC's adjust the offense and playcalling to fit their talent.

And he doesn't get hit as much. That was the knock on Martz coming in. Even when his offense is productive, the quarterback still takes a ton of abuse. With this O-Line, the fear was for Cutler's career. The other side was saying that Martz would adapt his play calling, but that has been mixed at best. Sounds like Lovie and Tice need to sit Martz down again and explain the situation.

Coach, no personal attacks please. I ripped Martz this week because he deserved it. I do love the way you "keep score" on how many times we each give positives.

There are a lot more negatives that comes out of a Martz offense than positives if you dont have the elite talent.
