My biggest problem with Lovie is that I thought he was going to be more of a disciplinarian when he got here. Jauron was the player's coach guy and I think you cant go to a similar type coach. I think that Lovie tried to be at the outset, tried to run a tougher camp etc. But then everyone pulled muscles and I think that the Leaders of the team (Url, etc) didn't like the new version of things. With every year it looks like there is less accountablilty for poor or uninspired play. Thats my biggest gripe.

Sapp touches on a good point about the DE's. We have Philip Daniels Jr and the III playing over there. We dont have the top level pass rush DE, which I guess is one reason we seem to take one every draft. Hey nfo, not trying to "call you out" but why when I post a link on info I get ripped, but then you post on stuff you heard in interviews its good info.

Agreed. Again its not like we lost to the Lions.

I dont want to get into this again, but I have always said that our staff wasn't very good at teaching technique and player development. Dude this has nothing to do with scheme. Not sure why you would bring that up.

I quite agree with you here. I'm not sure what the expectations of people on this board were but you can bet that unless he threw for 300+ with 3+ TD's and zero turnovers that he was going to get bashed. For me, producing two TD's and only having one turnover against the top defense in the league surpassed my expectations. I had a fear of 5 turnovers and getting blown out. I was much less disheartened with this loss as I was with the Atlanta loss. At this point, Rex is what he is, mediocre. You just have to hope Orton gets back quick.

Man I noticed this too. He was destroying our receivers, knocking them off routes, etc. We never got him out of being super aggresive and it hurt us.

Guys we weren't playing the Lions. It was the best team in the league. Our receivers were getting their axxes kicked all over the field. I dont know what Orton does that wins us this game. Makes a couple of more completions, maybe. HAving Orton doesn't help us get a pass rush or help the DB's cover (maybe Tenn can give Vasher and Tillman a how to dvd). For me Rex was Mediocre, He produced 2 TD's and had one turnover. Obviously Orton is better, but this loss is not on Rex.
