I think Pace just went to Denver to get high. He was depressed that Mel Tucker gave Fox a bad review, when he had Tucker interview Fox. Thanks Lemonej, I've always been a big fan of Redd Foxx and Sandford and Son. It'd be awesome if when they introduced John Fox, if Sanford & Son's them played, and he faked a heart attack.

If his name was Kyle Tucker, he would never be mentioned as a HC candidate due to his resume. I don't think he will ever be one in the NFL honestly.

Lol, I'm going to wait it out see if Fox is even hired and if he brings Shanahan on before I blow my top on that. I'd be more worried about his Shannahan's talent. If his name was Kyle Tucker, I don't think as many ppl would be clamoring over a OC that was in the bottom third of the league 4 out of 6 years he coached. I'd be worried about the reports that came out of Washington after he left there about the kind of guy he was. I'd worry more about him leaving Cleveland after one year and why.

The guy just got a text saying, Fox to the Bears. He doesn't know anything else, so I wouldn't call it too credible.

Yea, it could be many things. It's just weird how well the Bears have been able to keep information in house this offseason.

It's odd he left and went back to Denver without any leaks. Maybe it wasn't such a done deal as reported and just speculation, ala Ballard.

Honestly, I think the problem was someone I won't name and not the zone defenses. It worked all of the year before, and I'm sure they faced zone defenses quite often that year.

I don't see Gase as someone with championship experience, so I am guessing that he isn't Elway's first choice. There's a good chance he could be available if Fox wants him here and they are on good terms.

Lol, to be fair, I just read the first line. I didn't realize he lost play calling duties. I do love the style of offense that Trestman and Callahan ran in Oakland. The only reason I wanted Trestman gone this year was the locker room was a mess. He wasn't the right guy to be a head coach here.

Here would have been my list if I knew as much now as I did at the beginning. 1. Austin - Gut feeling 2. Fox - Has a lot of what this team needs, but not special 3. Harbaugh - The way things ended in San Fran dropped him on my list 4. Ryan - I just like the guy, may have been a bad hire 5. Del Rio - Same reason as Fox 6. McDaniels - They guy is an offensive genius, may have been humbled by the first sting 7. Bowles - Bumped up the Cardinals D from middle of the pack to the top fourth in the league I really had no interest in Quinn, Kubiak, or Gase.

I would rather have Gase than Shanahan, and I'm not high on Gase. He is an unknown. The more I read on Shanahan, the more I don't want him around the team. Not only is he a bad OC, but he apparently has character issues.
