  2. may as well take a knee before this gets worse
  3. Can't believe the stats... 22 tackles by the defense. Doesn't feel like we've tackled anyone

  5. this is beyond sad. Who will score on us next. Final Score 108-0 Bengals
  6. Lance and Jay may be the only ones. Wonder if Jay's going to demand a trade to get out of this hell hole
  7. well, we'll soon be down 28-0 do we just go home?
  8. And even preschool kids could show you how to beat it without thinking
  9. ..... and in todays walkthrough practice in Cincy
  10. this is possibly our week to get blown out 59-0
  11. Because we are unprepared, uninspired, and poorly coached. Our players don't give a dam and are ok with loosing and looking bad doing it.
  12. yet another uncontested TD.... 14 nothing. We are a friggin joke
  13. The Bears look like they have mailed it in already. Sick of watching this crap
  14. IMO the reason we are blitzing so much is because a of a lack of talent in the secondary. I think the hope is that we can get to the QB before we can get burned down field. Sadly though that hasn't worked and teams abilities to pick up our blitzes has allowed opposing QB's time to then pick us apart. A DB's job gets harder the longer the play goes even for good DB's when your DB's are mediocre at best continual failed blitzing is pure suicide. Blitzing for the sake of blitzing isn't a good strategy we need to be more creative and careful with our blitzing. We simply do not have the secondary to make up for failed blitzes down after down. IMO we are gambling on D and are loosing that gamble more often than not.
  15. Totally agree, this deal works for everyone. It gives him an extension, gives the Bears time to build around him and evaluate if he truly is the best fit for the Bears (not saying he isn't or that I'm not thrilled with him), and if the next deal is big it means that he has done what we brought him here to do. It also stabilizes the QB position so we can address the other need areas on the team. Namely OL and many have pointed out it does help to have a franchise QB if he's constantly being pounded, harassed and generally running for his life down after down. Next priority is evaluate, and come up with a plan to fix the OL.
  16. 3 turnovers in scoring position (including the turnover on downs) were the killers. first one the pick, the defensive free roamer able to make the play on a ball thrown too far outside. second, first and goal inches from the goal line and we fumble not once but twice on consecutive plays resulting in turn over. Third the final drive we had opportunity after opportunity and we shoot ourselves in the foot with stupid penalties offensive pass interference and we were in a hole on 3rd down on our own 29 needing the 4. We nearly get the first down. Then the offsides making it 4th and a long 5. and an incomplete pass. The other turnover was the pick on an overthrow when we were moving the ball. Conclusion this was sloppily played game and we deserved to lose. Inexcusable, we had two weeks to prepare for this game. This is one we should have won and these types of losses are the ones that can come back to haunt you.
  17. against Pit, Troy is back and the steelers look like they are back on track. GB looked good today against Detroit but... who wouldn't. Bret Fart is getting the praise for working his magic the win again sure did play well but if Balt makes that FG it's all moot. Getting sick of all the Favre ars kissing. If that's not bad enough he's now on the team I hate most. I'd love nothing more than to see us sweep them.
  18. Not that there are games we don't need to win but with Minn getting lucky yet again are now 6-0 GB winning are 3-2. A win tonight puts us at 4-1 and keeps us a game behind Minny a loss drops us to 3-2 and puts us with the Packers at 2 games back Plus it's a conference game. To win we are going to have to play a complete game Atlanta is too good to waltz in there and sleepwalk through the first half and expect to pull it out in the second half. We must establish the run and win the time of possession battle. Atlanta is a fast track we need to utilize that with our speed guys Hester and Knox. Offensive line needs to protect Jay Defensively we need to get pressure on Ryan early and often. We need to be smart on defense and not let them just play pitch and catch up and down the field. Must make them work for every inch they get.
  19. Queens get lucky again.... unbelievable
  20. Tight game. Balt with 2 seconds left a 44 yard fg can win this. Down by 2. Flacco has played well

    Poll

considering that the vast majority of QB's to don a Bears uniform have been the antithesis of competency. A list of guys that read like a list of who's who for the wall of shame. it's hard to remove the expectations from consideration since we've been looking for a franchise QB for most of this franchises lifetime. Often when we've drafted a guy high, traded for, or signed as a free agent any potential promising prospect (see also any QB who has yet to fail us = promising) many of whom were "expected" to be the saviour. Some were duds from the get go some showed flashes of competency. Some were good but couldn't stay healthy like Jimmy Mac, Erik Kramer, Jim Miller, Rex Grossman (who turned out to be just as detrimental to the team on the field as he was in rehab). My memory also only extends back to Jimmy Mac. So many of the guys already mentioned come to mind and I'll also add the exploits of Rick Mirer (sp?), PT Willis, Cade, Will Furer Steve Stenstrom, Noodle arm Mathews, & Krenzel Now some of these guys had some limited success but nothing to get to excited about.
