  1. If it fell that way probably the highest rated player would be Cooper. Maybe White if someone likes him better.

If it falls like that... you gotta take a chance on mariota, high character at a position of importance...

  2. Pretty irrelevant that the team hasn't lived up to expectations. In all those years I don't recall one positive thing he's had to say. You mean to tell me that in all that time the team hasn't done ANYTHING worthy of a thumbs up?

This is a fan's board and trolls aren't tolerated here. The only thing that separates him from being any other troll is that he claims to be a Bears fan although he hates the team and everything it does. It creates all this meta BS on the board that isn't worth a damn. For all I know he could be a Packer's fan in sheep's clothing, just here pretending so he can get a bunch of Bears fans pissed off.

I'll move on now because I started this with him today and I'm an idiot for taking the bait. I'll just block him like I used to and that'll be that.

    Peace.

Thats the most relevant part... you don't know him nor do i and for that matter no one does... but to question his allegiance to his favorite team is ignorant... i don't feel that just cause he's fed up with the team that gi es you or anyone else the right to bash on him... this is a FORUM for OPINIONS... if you don't like his or mine or anyone elses for that matter hit ignore... i think he has a lot of character considering the constant harrassment he edures from everyone... he's better than me cause if I'm attacked personally i'm of the swing first and consider asking questions later type...

  3. That Terra dude sure is a negative fucker in other breaking news. ..

He's been that way for the past 5-10 yrs on this forum.... the bears have sucked balls for every bit of that time frame... maybe instead of bashing him you all should recognize his relevance and stop being yes boys its okay to be upset with the team especially with the way it has been run for the past 20 yrs... and if anyone doesn't see that then you're nothing more than a corporate kissass

  4. Hey, you were little, you are big now, but don't seem to recognize a good deal when you see it. You can choose any team to root for you want now, it's called free will! So if you gotta a problem with Da Bears, move o.n Getting rid of BM

was the right deal based on age, injury problems, erratic behavior. So I am happy this went down and look forward to see what's next.

Yeah saved a little over 3 mil lost a little over 5 in dead space... good deal my ass.. marshall was the only one who called people out last yr cause he hated losing... thats why he was traded... hating losing is not a good trait for anyone on this team!

  5. Plus, don't forget he all the work he put into helping Jeffery develop. He was the first guy to meet Kyle Long and the godfather to Bennett's kid.

This trade may cause more locker room problems than keeping Marshall would have. Marshall just turned 30, and has another 4 good years left in him and had a friendly cap number. I just don't get it. Had to be ownership.

There's a reason why this team hasn't won the s.b. for 20 yrs... morons running it

  6. There is no way you do that without a plan in place. Cap space is nothing unless you use it to replace the production. I fully expect some big deals within the next week.

According to Overthecap, we only save $3.95 and take on $5.625 in dead money due pro-rated bonuses accelerating to this year. So we would be lucky to get Hartline for that price. Not as warm to this deal than I was originally with everyone talking about $7.5 in savings.

    One word: STUPID!!!

Hey, lets trade the guy who wanted to win and who called out people who didn't.... the dumbest move of all is .... whiney cuntler is still on the team... lets fill this team with i don't give a f#cks and see who we can get with the #1 overall pick next yr... wish i had better taste picking a team to root for when i was little, i was a fool to choose this team!

  7. ok hot shot, your going to pass a potential 15 sack year guy for a line eater? misguided

Stinger, let me ask you this...if you could go back to 2004, who would you draft between these two...?

    Jason babin or vince wilfork

  8. Agree. I was more referencing to you talking about moving up with the other pick to grab a safety. I don't think you fall in love and move up, outside of a spot here or there and you better have another plan to get other picks. Bottom line, percentages and odds say you are going to bust and miss so the more picks you can scoop up in the early to middle rounds, the better.

I see where you are coming from but holliman is a true free safety something we haven't had since #30 retired... 14 ints... 2off of the potential #1overall pick... look up his stats... 14 ints last year... and in highschool he had 12 which i believe 5 he returned for tds... shore up the secondary and dline an it may cost 1st, 2nd, and maybe a 4th or 5th depending how far you have to move up... i've seen mocks where holliman falls to the second rd... idk we will see... either way, you can take your 3rd rd pick and trade down and get your extra picks.... we NEED a playmaker at safety and holliman could be it... i like hime more than collins that is for sure...

  9. Lol....ahh good ole willie. I always think of him as an end but agree he'd be more of a fit on the outside LB in the 3-4. Agree the ends are typically bigger but not necessarily your typical tackles. They tend to be heavy but also tend to have longer wing-spans, etc. Houston would seem to fit the mold more than anyone else we have from the end perspective.

I think fangio would be working with more depth on the dline with ends houston, paea, sutton and ferguson and tackles shelton, feguson and mabe ratliff? than what he had at san fran... the question would be can the lbers take the next step?

  10. Greene will get cut and you are proposing 3 DT's in a 3-4, all of which were relatively high draft picks and one who had to sign a big contract (Paea). Or are you implying Ego / Paea would be ends? Whose young?

Why not, richard seymour went to pro bowls as a de in a 3-4 and a dt in a 4-3 so why is that unrealistic? Having ego and shelton and paea all out at one time would be hard to run on for sure

  11. Greene will get cut and you are proposing 3 DT's in a 3-4, all of which were relatively high draft picks and one who had to sign a big contract (Paea). Or are you implying Ego / Paea would be ends? Whose young?

I'm implying beefing up a dline... and stopping the run so the lbers can drop back in coverage... with that d-line many guys can play multiple spots... ego can jump to nose to spell shelton... houston can spell ego , sutton can spell paea... willie young/allen can play olb especially on passing/blitzing situations

  12. I vote for the Beliceck philosophy. Trade down, trade down, trade down. Accumulate picks and talent and value the mid-round picks. Don't be a fool and get caught on the sexy top end talents, accumulate picks and you'll be able to maneuver all around the draft.

I get that, but the first two rounds we need Difference makers... even belicick wasn't dumb enough to pass on wilfork... do your pick accumulating in the 3-7 rds...

  13. The more i read, the more i am hoping, no praying, we draft danny shelton... mayock has compared him to wilfork and ngata and thinks he's the number 5 overall prospect... weighed in at 343 at senior bowl. All that and he rarely came out even though he was playing in an up tempo pac12... draft him at 7 then find a way to move up to pick the best free safety in the draft gerod holliman... I would love a draft with the first two picks being shelton and holliman!

Ego-shelton-paea... greene/3rd rd pick - jones-bostic-young.... Fuller-Mundy-Holliman-Jennings... sutton and houston rotating in to keep dline fresh... could be a Great step toward turning the def around!

  14. I have no way to say that Bostic is solid. He's been better than most of our crap but that is still comparing him to crap. He's been a disappointment and I have been very consistent in that regards. Our entire LB corps has been a disappointment. Undrafted rookie linebacker Christian Jones became our best linebacker by season's end for pete sake. As slow as Briggs looked, prior to going down, there wasn't another player in the LB Corp who was even close to him. Both of those things should tell you all everything you need to know. For whatever reason, this board is too easy on some of our turd players and always so quick to blame coaching, etc. Coaching stunk but I'll call a spade a spade and our LB's were worthless.

15. 2015 NFL Mock Draft - WalterFootball.com

    http://walterfootball.com/draft2015.php

I love rounds 2-4... That said, i would be extremely disappointed if we took collins 7th overall... it is like drafting major wright at 7 overall... bamas secondsry SUCKED this year... my buckeyes made exposed him... and he hurt his shoulder in that game... can anyone say conte? He is not a cover safety... more of a run stopping safety...we've had enough of them... my pick is to trade down pick up an extra second rder and draft gerrod holliman and a fat nose tackle with the extra pick...

  16. Alright everyone, let predict who goes...

I say all the coaching staff and emery. Emery has to go... He obviously missed on his first rd pick on his first draft. He completely over-paid for citlers contract when he could have used the franchise tag ( which has been brought up numerous times). He brought in some complete busts on the defensive side of the ball the last two yrs. He tends to get cute with his draft picks and acts as if he is out smarting everyone when really he's only out smarting himself. Most of all the fact that arians and mccoy are doing decent this yr and they were the two he passed up. Not to mention the ridiculously stupid things he put the coaches through when interviewing them... how can all of this be ignored when he isn't even 4 years in?

  17. No way we trade a pick to get rid of him.

    Peace :dabears

No way we get a good coach to come here, when we have mr. coach killer... This is just b.s. we r gonna win a meaningless game! STUPID... Its lovie all over again!

  18. Son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!! freak, cock, shit.....freak

    Put in David Fales.........

Great... Cutlers gonna rape us one last time before we ship him and the 11th overall pick to get rid of him... thanks jay, for making it extremely hard to continue being a bears fan... No doubt jay will go out there and smoke the vikes and we will screw our draft order again.... it SUCKS being a bears fan!

  19. When its crunch time and your team is down and feeling lost, its the qb's duty to breathe life into his team and lead the rally. Not stumble over to the sidelines and sit your overpaid ass on the bench, secluding yourself from your teammates who have been by your side some of which have put more work in than you... i.e. marshall... Emery gave him a fat contract and ignored those signs so he and the coaching staff mustgo. And so does phillips for allowing the wrong choices to be made over and over...to anycutler sympathists: how many times do you see brady off by himself when the pats are down? He usually is the one up telling his teammates WE ARE NOT OUT OF THIS YET!!! Not mailing it in before the end of the first half.. just sayin..

  20. Some great numbers from Jay against some great defenses this year:

    - 27 more yards from his all-time high as a Bear, 360 from 4,000 yards

    - 66.1 Completion %, career high

    - 28 TD's, career high

    - 18 INTs, still 8 less than career high

    - 89.5 QB Rating, career high

    - 27 Turnovers, 3 less than career high

Ray Lewis's comments after the game were spot on about cutler... I would saythe way jay acts proves he is not a qb that can take the bears into to the postseason much less the superbowl....
