  1. If we sign Williams we wont be affording anyone else.
  2. Enough teams want him, he will get paid.
  3. If would be nice to have him, but the cost will be to much to help us at the other spots we need to fill. We need WR and OL help or in two years Cutler will be gone. He has been hoping we help him, but if we keep blowing him off, he will leave.
  4. Need to leave him alone with what it would cost for him, traded or just cut. We do need to get younger and take a chance on a younger player like Mincey from Jacksonville, whose Arrow is pointing up not down. Or Wimbley.
  5. I think there are so many needs, anyone one they sign will help alot. The problem is if you sign Williams, you have no money for anyone else. I also think you need help in the OL and a couple of WRs, so between the draft and Fagency you hope they add some good players. V Jack will be over paid, but I think he is a between 6 and 12th as far as ranking him. I have backed off from him and then we should chase Colston for 2 to 4 mil less and gives a chance to sign another quality guy.

Terra definitely does not need to quit his day job to become a GM.
  7. Do you play fantasy football? You can take him as your #1 WR where ever he plays, for all the love you have for him. Just because you were the first to think of Moss doesnt mean its still a good idea. If we add some quality, picking him up would be a bonus, but to be our focus going forward, not very smart.
  8. I agree, how many times can we roll the dice and let Cutler die out there. We need to add a guard and tackle, one each in FAgency and one in the first three rounds of the draft. We at least need some options if those starters fail.

I agree with everyone you just stated, the problem with your math is that is about 34 mill in contracts for the year and you didnt figure in the rookie pool and resigning our own players.WE DONT HAVE THAT MUCH MNONEY. Also Forte money has to come off that cap. I think we have enough to sign Coslton , Carlson, and Wimbley.
  10. I dont think we should go after Williams, the money we will have to pay him will prohibit us froming getting any other players of note. I would rather have A Colston and Grubbs, and a CB than just one guy and some low lights.
  11. I think you can get the same numbers out of Colston for 2 to 4 less.
  12. Was reading on PFT that with the QB in place, they will be going after Jackson big time. If Snyder wants someone, I think he will outbid us for VJ.The only thing we have going for us is being a better team.
  13. They went all in last year, waiting for him to play and looked what happened. I think they are more aware of his injuries than anybody else and anybody getting Manning is taking a big risk. I think if they are going to be bad, might as well rebuild. They know they have the of the best prospects to come along in many years at QB, so a perfect time to go young.
  14. I would prefer that better.

I could live with that, and think Jenkins in the 6th would be a great valve pick.
  16. All your ideas arent terrible.
  17. We have to address those two spots first then fit in whatever money we have left to get other deals done.
  18. He listed Washington in two spots. Possiblities and teams that are out
  19. Actually I think you should sign Davis as a backup and Clark, then at least you have options.
  20. You are so full of opinions, I would be curious for you to project some of them for people to view. I am sure you have along the way, but dont wish to go back and view all the posts recently. Tell everybody who you like, and what you think will go down, so we can praise or condemn.
  21. That appears to be way to much, but if he turns out to be a pro bowl type QB, maybe not.
  22. I would say the weather would have to be an attraction, two years ago they were 10-6 and they have the most money to spend. I think Courtland will cost 6 to 8 mil according to what CBs having gotten recently.
  23. The problem is with Davis you take the risk of him not being good, since we dont have the film to determine differently. I would rather take a chance on someone that has actually did it on the field. If we sign Davis back and he sucks then what? You going to rely on Speath to be the guy? He blocks, and thats not going to get us vertical.
  24. Yes I didnt think about that , Addai is more like Forte.
  25. The guy wasnt real big on contact before the injury, after his body heals, I think his brain wont follow. I see him gun shy and will end his football life.
