  1. It will be an improvement, but I think we still have a OG to get in FAgency or the draft that could fit in to the LG spot. I just read Mincey resigned for 4 year 27.6 mill, thats almost 7 per year. That leaves Wimbley as our only other choice of substance in FAgency. What about M. Anderson? He has had his moments and could be cheap as a situtational pass rusher. If they dont sign a DE, I think they will resign Idonije and draft a DE in the 1st or 2nd round.
  2. I listen to the SCORE regularly and a Miami radio host, said he never blended well in the locker room in Miami and it was a new coach trying to set a new tone with the team. He is getting rid of players that are problematic.

I dont think what happened to Marshall will end up turning into a suspension. The two players we are looking at today, seem more like players we can afford. To many people think we have tons of money and just sign the best players.(fantasy free agency) They are trying to lock up Mincey, and with these two, this is where the rest of free agency will go.
  4. Nicks aint coming here, but Winston is a possiblity.
  5. They have backed off of Williams because he will command 16 to 18, we dont have enough money to buy him.
  6. They seem to be chasing Mincey/DE, Carlson is being touted by several teams, so his money is starting to rise. I think we will get one or OL and it wont be Nicks.(Tampa has tons of money and he visited them first)
  7. So far we have been suprized by all the moves so far. There are trying to sign Mincey, if they get that done, good first day. They seem to have a plan, Phil sees the glaring weaknesses that the Bears pretended werent there. WR, backup QB, not enough pressure on the d-line. I suspect he has noticed the Oline and supect we will see the next move in that area.
  8. Carlson is commanding attention, so who do we go after if hes gone? The guy from Minn, or Tamme from Colts? Dressen from Houston? How about Kevin Boss?

Hes younger and has more upside than resigning Idonije. Maybe Idonije could be signed on the cheap as our DT rotation. He played well when at DT/3
  10. There are supposedly offering a contract to Mincey as we speak. If they get him, I think we had a really good first day. Now some Oline help and maybe a 2nd tier cb, and I think were done.

Wimbley was set make 11 for the Raiders, so I think he will demand a little more like 8 to 10 mi.
  12. I think they keep McGown or draft one in the middle rounds. Good move, since the Oline isnt fix yet, we need a good backup.

Freeney is making 15 mil a year, how much of a pay cut, do you think he will take? He is not worth what he is making but I dont see him taking less than 10 mil a year.
  14. We dont have enough money to sign Williams. He will get anywhere between 15 and 18 mi.

He has shown improve over the last two years, and is viewed as a breakout type player.
  16. PFT has reported the real cap space numbers are out. It has us at 22.6, and that is after Forte has been franchised. Rookie pool-------------------------4 to 5 mil Our own FAs------------------------6 to 8 mil So how much does that leave us for our big signing everybody wants? I suspect we get one big contract to work and a few fringe players.
  17. We are paying an average of 14 mil a year for Pep, and Williams will be 2 to 4 mil more per year average. Bewteen Vjax at 12 and Williams at 16, you will get more valve from Mario. The problem is we are hosed on the OL and WR spot if we do this.
  18. So what is Williams and Jackson hanging out together today? Williams will make the most money in F Agency and wont be taking 3 mil less to sign someone else. We dont have enough money for more than Williams.
  19. I read a report that lists all the teams cap space and our cap is 22.6 mil. Also Mario will cost more like 16 to 18 mil. which doesnt leave money for anyone else. We still have a rookie pool and our own players to sign.
  20. All of that sounds very doable, but if we sign Mincy, I dont think we will draft a DE that high, maybe another DT
  21. It would be fun to watch the defense if he comes here, but I fear we cant upgrade the OL and WR spot to satisfy Cutler. His contract is up in two years, and if he takes a beating again for another year,I guarantee he wont be coming back. He has waited for 3 years for them to improve on offense, if we blow him off for another year?
  22. Thank God he is a 49er so we dont have to hear anymore of the Randy Moss crab. Hey TO is still out there.
  23. That is about 34 to 36 mill, which we dont have. You forget the rookie pool and signing our own players, but hey I love to play fantasy football.
  24. I would love to get either one but think a Wimbley/DE, Winston/RT. and Colston(if available) would serve us better.
  25. His cap hit is 2.8 but base salary 1.9. so I think we save the 2012 salary.
