Manning was an excellent athlete who was still progressing, he would have been nice to hold onto....I bet we end up sad to lose him, just like we did Chris Harris, when many here were bitching about him he went to Carolina and was a very solid safety for them and now he is our starter again!

I just don't know what to think about Jimmy Mac sometimes...it many he was tough as nails and a seeming great guy, in other way, ala 1986 when he missed a bunch of the season after he slipped on the ice on the way to the field, it seemed he did not care about playing football too much. And some of his antics post football are, well, embarrassing. However, he was a true leader and got the job done, even if he did not have a Cutler type arm.

It is all about how he performs when the real season starts, I am not that bothered about slight indications of being out of shape, it is not like coaches have said anything. Let's give him a shot, he might just be a huge difference maker...if not, one year and gone?

Good point, but Cutler is making millions of dollars and has equivalent responsibilities that go beyond the field whether he likes it or not. If he chooses to continue to do what he has been doing it will only limit his income and "success" in some way.

I can't say I completely agree with JA and Co on everything, but to say he is stupid is a bit much even if the team were losing, much less coming off a year like last year. I think we can question his strategy in various ways but to brand him as an idiot overall is inaccurate and a bit ignorant in and of itself. As far as the O Line, definitely some question marks, but lets see what happens. I would bet they will be alot better than last year regardless of who Tice puts out there, because again, Tice is not stupid IMO.

I went to the Ticketmaster site and they are selling only expensive, £300 plus packages and then there is Thomson, also selling packages, but how much are the bloody tickets going to cost alone and when do they go on sale?

Amen, I am really looking forward to the season, I think we could be really strong this year. Last year was a great one and this year could be better!

I like Knox but I just don't see him as a starter. To me he drops too many balls and is not strong enough to get off CB's, go across the middle, etc.... I am glad he is around but at this point feel we need a guy who never drops balls to be the starter.

Agree completely, Bennett is the best of the rest from last year as he is the most rounded receiver. Maybe Hester will develop, he certainly has the talent. I would hope that Forte will resign, he is a quality back.
