  1. YEp, in fact our pre-release could be done today. However, my goal is to have it done before I head out of town for a week on Wednesday night.
  2. For those out of the area like me, the game will be on at 3 AM Eastern time on NFL Network. I love my DVR
  3. I can't wait. Anyone know what time this will be on NFL Network. Got to record this thing.
  4. I realize a few people on here love him, but good riddance is what I say. If after all this time you've yet to even be healthy enough to play in a pre-season or regular season game, I say you cut your ties.
  5. Here is a nice list that sums up the guys that are banged up right now and the amount of time they are expected to miss: It appears that Bryan Johnson and Airese Currie are both worthless since neither can stay on the field. Johnson would be one of the best FB's in the league while Currie could be one of the fastest WR's in the league. I didn't realize that Johnson would be done for the season, but we should have just expected that to happen and in Currie's case, he'll never be able to stay healthy enough to make any sort of impact.
  6. Apparently this is heating up. Haynes missed practice yesterday and people are speculating its because the two sides are close to an agreement. However, a source close to Haynes has insisted that he was told not to practice so he could rest his sore back. Obviously any deal would be pending a physical, but I think the two sides match up well and at this point the Bronco's just want to be done with Lelie.
  7. Lelie with Berrian/Bradley getting tons of plays as the 3/4, especially since we know at times we'll have one of the guys injured.
  8. Not a doubt in my mind that its Rex. If he's heatlhy he'll lead us to the playoffs and at least a playoff win.
  9. It appears the deal would center around Haynes and a 4th rounder. As of now the Bronco's are apparnetly asking for a 1st or 2nd rounder with the Bears offering a 4th rounder. The beat writer for the Bears on the Tribune indicated that he thought if the two sides met in the middle (3rd rounder) the deal would get done. However, if Pasquarelli is right, than we could instead give up Haynes and what appears to be a 4th rounder to get Lelie. This move would solidify our only "serious" weakness on the squad (the lack of any depth for when, not if, Berrian/Bradley go down) and really put the team in position to make some serious noise. If Bradley/Berrian stay heatlhy than you have 4 damn talented WR's and you could eventually spin one off next season for a pick if necessary. Plus with Mush getting older and guys destine to get hurt from time to time, it doesn't hurt to have too much depth at a key position. However, right now we are a nagging injury away from having crap at the WR spot and thats just not acceptable, imo.
  10. With Curtis Martin possibly being out, it appears that Thomas Jones to the Jets rumors are once again heating up. I honestly have no idea what the Jets could offer, unless they give us a couple draft picks which in turn allow the Bears to swing a pick to the Bronco's for Lelie.
  11. And he immediately becomes our 2nd stringer. I sure hope Benson/Jones can come back healthy and not suffer any lingering or recurring problems with there respected injuries throughout training camp and the season.
  12. Thats freaking beautiful.
  13. He's really worked hard and I'd hate to see him miss any extended period of time. Between him and Jones, we really can't afford to lose both for any extended period of time. If that happens, our great depth will be gone by the time the regular season starts. We need ya Ced, get healthy ASAP
  14. Not sure about any songs, although any time the Bears score me and the few Bear fans at the bar bring on a nice round of Beardown Chicago Bears..... Welcome aboard
  15. I think Davis ranks ahead of Currie (who will never be healthy) and Bragg. He's really produced at all the camps and works hard. His talent and athletism is greater than Bragg (from what I've read about Bragg since we picked him up) and he's already more familiar with the system.
  16. Speaking of Rickey Manning Jr., I saw where he had a few real nice plays in yesterday's camp.
  17. Didn't realize that he was once that highly touted. I'm definately hoping he can come back and play football (whether its with us or with another team).
  18. Ya, he's supposed to be pretty quick and have real good vision. The type of guy that could turn smaller gains into something and I don't mind that out of our slot WR, since often times he's the guy running a crossing pattern where we get it to him 5 yards up field, hoping he can get YAC
  19. According to Mullin he had another nice practice yesterday. I'm definatley impressed with the way they keep talking about his athletism.

If we have any injuries, we are going to be putting Davies into a pressure role pretty early in his WR career. Aapparently he's running very good routes out of the slot spot and has just shown some inconsistent hands (whats new). Also Mushin has been doing great thus far in camp and really has a nice relationship with Rexy. Here are some more notes on Davies getting looks as the kick returner. Apparnetly Hester is going to be the main guy, but having Davies as a backup plan isn't a bad thing.
  21. Recent rumors have him going to the Eagles. This makes sense, but I got to admit a guy that had 700 + yards last year and 1000 + yards the year before would look real nice alongside Mush.
  22. Very cool site. I think we are going to find out a lot about the Jones situation in the next 10 days or so.
  23. It wasn't quite a physical, it was an endurance test in which he was running.
  24. Does Rosenhaus have any WR clients that aren't happy? I could see him talking with JA asking him if he has any interest in such and such whose not happy with his current contract or situation. Than again, given the situation with two of Rosen's clients causing difficulties for JA this off-season, I can't see the two being on that good of terms. There was a point of time where Angelo had as good of a working relationship with Rosenhaus as any GM in football (which really says something cosidering the type of agent Rosenhaus is, ie a liar).
