  1. No, for all the teams it only includes the games up to this point, so those stats could change dramtically...and the only one that is skewed by a division team twice is San Diego...because they have played Oakland 2 times....
  2. Great quote by Olin......who do you think he wants to be snapping it too.....
  3. I did some calculating while I am sitting here at work. Basically because I am getting sick of all the argument over our easy schduele. Super Bowl Contenders in my eyes In order of opponents records: New England: 68-53 Indy: 61-60 Baltimore: 56-65 BEARS: 55-66 San Diego: 54-67 In order of point differential: BEARS: +158 San Diego: +137 New England: +109 Baltimore: +102 Indy: +77 The only team that has a clear tough schduele is New England which we played pretty damn well. I don't see how we are any worse then any one of those teams on that list. Its not DA BEARS fault that we have to play teams like Detroit twice....with all the hullabuloo after our (oh my god) 2nd loss we are sittin pretty to take homefield advantage in the playoffs....and I'd say we could take anyone of those "great" AFC teams WHEN we make it to the bowl. The most amazing stat off those lists is the point differential, we are still 21 poimts ahead of San Diego and LT isn't scoring 4 tds a game for us......
  4. In Grossman I I trust..... I'm stickin with Lovie on this one... Rex is a few games into his 2nd season of play...if he is going to learn from these situations he is going to have to play in them...how many of these teams has Rex faced before this year? Griese is a whore of the NFL, how much more consistant is he over Rex? coming off them bench have you... that Pats game was a trench war...look how Brady fared, maybe Bill should think about sittin him... I'll say one thing though....if we meet again in the BOWL somethins gonna be a little different...
  5. I wouldn't really mind a loss this week, except you know if we lose there goes the critics again saying were only the best in the NFC we don't even compare with the AFC. I say most of the starters should play 2-3 quarters. The ones with aches and pains can rest, but even though Rex is injury prone you have to keep him in there to gain more experience.
  6. Ron Turner pulled out a Kyle Orton playbook today..... thats all i have to say about that game
  7. PREACH IT BROTHA.......next thing ya know there's gonna be 15 yards for smiling..... I do like the increase of late out of bounds hit calls, but this new horse collar shit is ridiculas also....
  8. at least change the sub title....3 games now Rex has come back from being down....yea i said it 3
  9. We are Bears fans though...so that means everytime Rex goes down, or he has a hand on his pads and still throws the ball we are going to cringe....and after that second pick we'll call for griese to come in.....HA well i still dont support the guys at my bar calling for greise....
  10. IN REX I TRUST....its more of an O line problem anyway... except he still needs to learn to tuck the ball in and take a damn sack dont loft it into the air
  11. I Freaking LOVE IT...... Calm down buddy, yea i was rather disrupted after this game too.....but seriously though it wasnt all rex in this game....it was a total breakdown of every aspect.....
  12. Exactly......Those special few individuals that acctually put the game ahead of the money are few and far between......and most of the others are just listening to thier agents like DR.....
  13. check it out on madden that should answer all your questions.....there are a lot of zone and man coverages......the key is getting the rushers to the QB before he can throw it
  14. Everyone is making great points......I hope the number one person that will learn from thie game is Ron Turner......ESTABLISH THE RUN then start throwing the ball.... 11 rushes for TJ thats horrible he should be gettin 25 touches a game..... If Rex would have hit that ball on the first play the whole game would have been different. You know they were practicing that all week so they could quiet that domed crowd up quick.... I also agree that, that throwing off the back foot thing is freakin REDICK but i don't blame rex for all of those...the O Line was having a horrible day. This might have been the best thing for the Bears....Go into a trap game with a bye next week and almost get embarressed horribly.....makes them know they arn't the best thing ever.... DA BEARS are 6 - 0 wow that feels nice to say
  15. I would have to agree with that granted I was only 3 at the time, but i have seen countless highlight tapes and recorded games.....This offesnse has a lot more depth I would have to say. Sure Walter was a god, but i still think this O has the edge.....that being said its only the 5th week now and I might have to recant my statement later on...
  16. The Packers first shut out in 233 games.... Lovie is 4-1 against the packers and the only couch in Bears history to win his first 3 games at Lambeau..... THIS FUCKIN FEELS GOOD
