You gotta be kidding me. Benson sucks? Based on what? Jones is proven? Not this season. Seattle has the no. 2 run D in the league. Jones has barely done shit this season. You have to have them split carries. Leaving Benson to sit on the bench for a whole game would be a huge mistake.

I really think we need to work Benson in there more. Jones, outside of a quarter, hasn't really succeeded at all. I think we need to pound the ball with Benson 10-15 times against Seattle, and have Jones get 15-20 carries. I agree, we will have to control the clock. We are going to face a very good defense also. I think we need to focus on the run game a little more, especially now that other D's will be focusing on our passing.

agreed soxfan101. Why cut him now? He isn't taking up any roster space being IR'ed and all. And even next year, if he doesn't make the team, he'd still be a nice addition to the practice squad. Plus, he does have a lot of talent.

I still watch the Sox... and it is because I am a diehard. Wouldn't matter if we were 50 games under, I'd still watch and follow the sox no less then I would any other season. I haven't been to impressed with him. He committed a few of stupid penalties on ST. Why, HH is a pretty good LB. He is just overshadowed by you know who (Briggs and Urlacher). I doubt Jamar Williams ever becomes a full-time starter in the NFL. Hopefully we can re-sign Briggs.
