Thomas Jones can't break tackles, but he is more agile than Benson. I hope that they're trying to showcase him to make a big trade in the offseason.

That was just a great play by the CB on that deep play to Moose. He got his arm inbetween Moose's so that he couldn't close and catch the ball. Hopefully these remaining games help Grossman and the offense establish a good rythm and some confidence going into the playoffs. Just play mistake-free and they'll win.

I know, I really like it when they call plays like that. It also shows that Rex is checking down a lot now and not looking for the deep ball every play. Put the ball in the receiver's hands and let him get the yards. A 50 yard pass doesn't have to go 50 yards in the air.

In the blurb I caught on sports center, it said he's already on probation for weapons-related charges. I'm wondering why his home way raided over misdemeanor possesion of 6 guns. Seems a bit ridiculous to bring a SWAT team in over this -- there must have been something else they were looking for.

They must not be registered or something, unless they're suspected of being used in a crime. I don't think any of those guns are illegal to own.

I think Urlacher realizes that having someone like Briggs beside him makes him a better player, and vice versa. Brian, being the class act that he is, is willing to take a small hit in order to ensure that the Bears stay strong. Of course, the better the Bears are, the more likely Urlacher is to get endorsement deals, so it all comes full-circle anyway.

I wouldn't want to try it too much before the playoffs. Let's keep it as another trick in our bag to pull out.
