I have two gifts from my boys. One is a 6x10 Autographed photo of Ditka flipping the bird. And a large photo of a rookie Urlacher also signed. No cards and not looking ;to sell them. The Ditka is available on eBay etc. The other is a one off

I have no expectation for this year other than to get players that will be with this team for years. Time to build the foundation and continue to grow. 25-and beyond.

Cost going forward, not in the equation for now. Fields is a great watch. He's not taking any team to the SB. Yes anytime. Just my wimpy ass option. Look me up when he does!!!!

If you keep klus than I believe you have to keep Fields. It makes no sense to keep drafting a QB and a year or two later get rid of the head coach. One stays they both stay one goes they both go. Stop tying a dead man walking coach with a QB and vs versa.

Build the team inside out. Then get a QB. Studs on both lines before anything else.

I guess what I'm saying and I don't always do that well is. What ever QB fields can become it ain't going to be here under this bunch. And why hope they get another chance no matter who picked who.
Not being a smart ass but I think most of us here could perhaps have a hand in presenting a better offense for fields than they have.

This has been a long time coming for me. Been a long time since I had this much faith that they are headed in the right direction. And not just for next year. I'm only watching things that hype the Bears going forward till Sunday, no more nay sayer shit. Swifty Sports? on U tube has a great video about JF. He makes it sound like he's the 2nd coming of some QB, no make that the first Fields!! No reason they can't go 9-8. Barring of course injuries.

Eiselen. He's been on the roster going on three years? Have not seen him in a game. I believe he got reps in preseason. I have read a lot about so many loveing him.

Even with our depleted roster, you can feel this team getting stronger. Pretty soon those bad 4th quarter play calls aren't going to be enough to hold back this team and keep them from beating someone. Probably the Lions and/or the Vikings. I am thrilled at the growth and cant wait to see what Fields and this staff can do with a proper roster.
But I want that #2 pick. It means so much more than the #5 in terms of getting Jalen Carter, or some really sweet bundle of first round picks, the kind we used to be on the giving side of.
It's hard not to want the team to win. Of course it's because I want them to WIN in the larger context, so it's not disloyal or anything. But still, I am actually worried they are gonna bust out too soon.
Four more games and then our future can start.
Thoughts?Has being a Bears fan come down to worried about winning. Or what ever its called when a team works to improve their draft. I never played college sports etc. But I have always thought that winnings is learned just like losing.

I have been hyped for every draft the Bears have had for decades. I will watch, read, and do everything I have done for years but even more so. Win record is not my gage for a good season this year. Show me improvement in all areas of the team including coaching. Give me something to hang my hat on going forward. But no matter what, I will always be excited for every Bears season
