The better Rex plays, the better that reflects on Wilson, the better chance he has to move up to an Offensive Coordinator gig, and eventually a head coach. Yeah, but he did so well there because of Andy Reid's West Coast offense. I'd be worried we'd overpay for a 37 year old to come in and slow the development of Rexy, only to have him play as badly as he did in Detroit and Cleveland (of course, both of those teams are incredibly hard to gauge.) You can't argue with his career 86.4 QB rating...

I don't see this happening since the Bears are enamored with Rex and have so much money invested in Griese, plus to make Garcia as good as possible we'd have to switch to a near-West Coast offense. However, it's news.

I'm not kidding in the least. Unfortunately, our front office would never make the move, bc of the "risk." But you talk about having Moose, Moss, and Berrian on the field at once, you can actually make this a powerhouse offense. Of course investing all that money in Moss/Moose is a lot on the receiving core, but I think it would help immensely.

I truly see this issue getting out of hand if it goes on for one more season.

The play calling was a joke, but Rex has to go through his progressions. The lob down the sidelines was a poor decision, the receiver was double-covered, while Des Clark was open (as he was most of the night). Unfortunately, Des dropped that 4th down catch, so F him anyway. Rex played poorly, but this game was lost in the trenches, where our D-Line had ZERO pressure all night long, and our O-Line gave Rexy ZERO time. It was a complete loss, which makes me sad considering the high I was on when Hester scored on the opening kick...

is it just me, or is anyone else annoyed with how the game ended. we had the ball with more than a minute and a half left, and we ran down the clock for a loss. Um, its the freakin SUPERBOWL! shouldnt they have at least tried to go downfield, score, onside kick recover score again? i don't see why you just give up on the game? as unbelievable as a comeback might have been, not trying for one was the most disappointing part of my superbowl XLI.
