Last week, it was quite obvious Rex just needed one positive play to get himself on track. That play was his run up the gut. He was smiling, getting high-fived by his teammates again, and he threw very well after that.
I think all he needed was confirmation that he could play in the league... think about how this season went for him, he HAD to have been freaking out.
Now, I'm rather confident that he's going to be fine. I love Rex Grossman, and feel that he answered the situation against the Rams with more pressure than any player has had on him all season (including the whole NFL here). It was Monday Night Football, his situation has been dissected across the country and on ESPN and ESPN Radio, and of course locally. No one in the league has had the type of pressure that Rex faced on Monday, and he answered and owned and good for him!.
