Predictions: Kyle Orton: 11/22 158 yards 1 TD 0 INT Matt Forte: 29 carries 152 yards 1 TD 1 reception 7 yards 1 TD Kevin Jones: 7 carries 45 yards 1 TD Hester: 1 rec 14 yards Lloyd: 2 rec 29 yards All in all I think we should dominate offensively with our running game. Forte will crush them and Kevin Jones won't miss a beat when he comes in. I predict Kyle struggles a little bit late and overthrows a couple open receivers causing his completion % to drop but he will still do his thing and manage the game the right way. If the defense plays like they did in Indy we will blow the Panthers outta the water. We could score over 30!

The Patriots being number 2 is a joke and a half..

I don't think the Packers miss a beat this year unless they have injuries. Aaron Rodgers looked like a top tier quarterback from what I saw Monday night. He even looked a little Farve-esque with that TD pass to that one guy at the goal line. But since Lovie has been here we've pretty much owned the Packers, and I expect the same this year!

Mike Brown will be waiting for him.

I thought Vince Young would be a top tier Quarterback before it was all said and done but now it's looking like he's heading in the wrong direction.

The Bears surprised me! I guess preseason doesn't have any bearing at all on how the season will go for a team. We completely dominated the Colts on the ground and we controlled the game throughout.

Okay I don't know about you but I really like the white on whites! We should do away with the navy pants. Same goes for when were playing at home, go with the navy on navy! We look so much sharper with those jerseys on, what do you guys think?

Hester's dreads got alot longer from last season to this season! Anyone else notice that?

You guys aren't getting it. It all depends on the situation and game plan. We were running the ball well, Kyle didn't need to throw for 250 yards. If you didn't notice, we ran for over 180 yards! It's dumb to make it an either or type of thing. There is going to be a time where we can't run the ball effectively and Kyle will be forced to throw it 30-40 times. Then I would expect him (hopefully) to be in the 250-300+ yard range. But any day of the week I'd rather have our running game go for over 180 then have our QB throw for 350 yards mainly because you control the game and clock when you run the ball, and it makes a quarterbacks job much easier if your not a Peyton Manning or a Tom Brady to just manage the game. That's what we did last night, Kyle managed the game but that's alright.

I still have doubts about Babich. One game is hardly enough to sway me either way.

Yeah Orton looked like Peyton Manning out there calling audibles at the LOS. I was very pleased with what he did last night. He managed the game flawlessly. As long as our defense plays like they are known for and Forte runs the hell outta the ball we'll be in good shape in the NFC North.

So far, nothing new, just what I expected. Both teams still have their strengths and weaknesses.

Halftime Stats: Kyle Orton: 7/13 91 yards 0 TD 0 INT Matt Forte: 14 carries 100 yards 1 TD Greg Olsen 1 reception 29 yards 0 TD Marcus Harrison 1 sack Score: Bears leading 15-6 Comments: Kyle Orton in the beginning looked off in his timing and a bit shaky, but he finally got into a groove and started connecting on several passes, one to B Lloyd and one to Greg Olsen. I said before, if given a short field Orton can lead the Bears to a few scores. Well thanks to Matt Forte's greatness in the first half we got our first TD out of the way. Forte has been better than expected. He is so shifty and I love how he just finds the hole right away and gets as many yards as possible without losing ground. In the open field you saw him OWN Bob Sanders and he has the extra burst. I expect to see a healthy dose of him and Jones in the second half. The defense is doing pretty well. They get a safety and a sack on Manning. As long as we get pressure on him we can contain their offense. With Dallas Clark out it makes things easier because he's a big 3rd down option and always gets those "Annoying" first downs. I hope we see more of the same with the defense come half #2.
