Week 4 Game Thread

What is the point, don't even send anyone onto the field. The organization has to complain about this game, beyond brutal, unwatchable. Bostic didn't do anything, what did the ref see?

Just take a knee for 4 downs with 3 players on the field. How do you play with officiating that bad. We have not been able to stop GB, but when we do, there is a phantom penalty that keeps the drive alive.

Still looks like an 8-8 team. Lions clearly the class of the division right now. Packers aren't very good.

I agree. Think Detroit will win the division. Bears lucky to get 9-7 or 8-8.

The officiating being what it is...garbage. But it's been bad for both sides. The difference ? Cutler and Tucker's inability to run a D.

Stop the run? We have, but we cant stop Rodgers and every Receiver is open.

Is there a more conservative, carefree offense in the league when it comes to pacing during situations when they should be trying like hell to get a play called? Unless they just gave up, I have no idea why they are running the ball on 2nd and long while allowing 25 seconds to run off the play clock between plays.

For shits sake bring in Clausen so he can at least get some playing time. Holy cripes!!!

If we dont score then I would bring him in.

How does Trestman not know the rule?

Funny, Lovie would manage a game very similar and people wanted him gone. Trestman hasn't had a great game management record thus far . Of course he's handicapped with Cutler but maybe with a new QB he'll get a fresh start.

P.S. They better keep Willie Young whatever they do.

You think Cutler has trade value this year?

Not with that contract, a team would be crazy to take him.

The 14 point swing was the difference in the game early in the 1st half. The Bears missed on 7 points after a PI call that gave them a fresh set of downs at the 1 yard line, and then the blunder at the end of the half where they finished with 0 points.

It goes back to what I said after game 1. The offense has to play almost flawless football to win some of these games, especially against real offenses with elite QB's. This is the worst offense the Packers have had in years but the Bears defense still couldn't get off the field. It's not fair to ask of this offense to score on every possession, but that's pretty much the way it's going to be against the better QB's.

This 100%.

Peace :dabears

The Bears offense needs to score more than 17 points when they don't punt all game.

The good thing is that the Packers D looked bad. The Lions are probably the best in the division, but they always choke. Minnessota looked good, but there will be growing pains with a rookie QB. The division is still up in the air.

Soldier field sucks, both noise-wise and field wise. There's no home field advantage. I wish they had a dome to hold in all the noise. Rodgers was making checks at the LOS all game long like he was in GB.
