Lovie/McCown Bowl Game Thread

Featured Replies

Lovie is back in town with Josh at the helm. One team is going to leave with a 2-game winning streak (and worse draft pick). Both teams are 2-5 in their last 7 games, so this is going to be a closer game than most believe. TB is better on the road 2-3 than we are at home 1-3. If we can't beat another bottom feeder, the franchise needs to just fold.

Bears 27-17

Josh is finally using those big weapons he has after taking notes from Glennon. With how teams have been passing on this secondary I could very well see a shootout of sorts...Unless it rains.

One thing I'd like to see is the continued resurgence of Allen. I want to have him back again next year but first I need to know he's worth the spot. He's got the leadership ability, now can he keep on sacking?

Lavonte David out for the Bucs...Good news for the Bears.

Mills and Britton among inactive for the Bears...So Ola-DLP-Garza-Long-Bushrod on the OL. Really gotta hope there's no injuries there today because there's pretty much nothing behind those guys.

Another nice pick by conte. Like I previously stated its too early to give up on him.

Agreed. I think what hurts him is he tries too hard to make the big hits. Hence the bum shoulder and number of concussions.

In other news, can we just trade Cutler for McCown right now?

For all that is good please pull him.

I don' t even know what to say anymore. How can Wilson have more targets (3) than Marshall or Jeffery with 2 each? Shutout again, at home?

Wasn't Allen's contract written that the guarantee was like $3 million this year and $9 million next year? i.e. it's really tough to get rid of him because you have to pay him next year anyway?

Would ya fancy that, Jay gets time to throw and he's able to work the ball down the field...Incredible

Glad your not the GM. I still choose Jay over Mccown.

I think they are messing with me. The defense shows again and then we have a great play call. What the hell. We need to string some good series together, then games.

The freak was that Paea? Should be our ball at the 10.

Apparently Pae tackles with his eyes closed. Can't believe Stephen did not come up with that ball either?

It all starts up front on both sides of the ball.

That should quiet all the Josh Mccown lovers!

He has looked worse than Cutler and against our defense, that is saying a lot. I like Josh, but he is not better than Cutler.

His price is definitely better for what you get between the two.
