Bears claim Zac Dysert

We also picked up TE Gannon Sinclair and put Perry on IR:

The Chicago Bears claimed quarterback Zac Dysert and tight end Gannon Sinclair off of waivers, placed running back Senorise Perry on injured reserve and waived quarterback Shane Carden and offensive guard Lucas Nix, the team announced on Tuesday.

Surprised about Perry, he had some nice runs and was doing great on Special Teams. I didn't know he was injured, but it looks like it is season ending. Carey just made the roster.

If Clausen can't go due to concussion, we may need to keep Fales and Dysert on the roster for a short period of time.

Too bad it wasn't Osweiller. Oh well, this makes sense.

From the 2nd day of training camp it was obvious Carden would never be an NFL QB. With Clausen injured it doesn't hurt one bit to get a look at Desert in this 4th preseason game since he knows most of the system from his last two seasons. He'll get cut after the game but at least the Bears will have another QB on speed dial if need be later in the year.
