Gives him a shot to prove it, and if he's holds his ground as a starter, in 1-2 years he'd be 29/30 FA and still able to get a decent contract. Report

I think most of what we sign from here out is Porter types that look for a prove it deal to get a contract like Porter received this year. Hopefully we get lucky and some of those surface. Report
