Falcons at Bears Official Week 1 Game Thread

After that 1st defensive series the defense has been on point. A little bit from everyone. That's a very good sign. Especially big RHH. Goes from possibly not making the team to not only making it but playing significantly and coming up with big play

Glennon starting to become a train wreck out there. Throw the god damn ball away! That's the 2nd sack he's unnecessarily taken, giving ATL a leg up on defense.

I never thought our go to receiver would be tarik cohen. Good to see he continues to bounce right back up after every hit he takes but can we stop trying to get the little man killed out there and start using actual receivers on a play that goes further than 5 yards down field

Wow, as good as Howard was last year, Cohen just has that next level burst that makes him special. Insane play to pick up 46 yards.

Tarik Cohen has changed this game with his speed. My god.

I cant say why but , I am just so energetic when the Bears are playing well. They will keep it close and hopefully grab a TO and win the game.

Glennon is not playing bad, he is an average QB and if he doesnt turn the ball over, he will do his job.

Cohen is a stud, have him in several fantasy leagues and seems to be a higher player than I originally expected.

Glennon is freakin trash. That sack was brutal. He's been better as a blocker than he has as a quarterback.

Looks like the coaches don't have faith in him to open things up. If this continues then screw it and put trubisky in although I don't want to use him in the 1st set of games

Glennon isn't a starting quarterback. If the RB's don't make plays, the offense can't do anything. The Bears haven't thrown the ball more than 10 yards down field once in this game. Glennon's pocket presence is reminiscent of Rex Grossman's. Bad.

Please don't get me wrong as this is not a knock on Cohen whatsoever. But why is it that every time Glennon drops back he's throwing towards Cohen on almost throw. Is there something I'm missing or is it glennon Is locked in to him

We need to open up the playbook here and there. At this point Atlanta knows everything is going to Howard or Cohen so it's 8 in the box to stop them. Would be a perfect time to open it up

LMAO, nvm. Bears defense just gave that one away.

God damn stupid secondary. How can you leave someone that wide open. The dline was even getting to Ryan once again

Not sure there's another defense out there who have had more embarrassing miscues than the Bears have for the last half decade. This, dating back to Chris Conte's blown coverage on Randle Cobb.
