Illinois came back from being down 31-10 to Michigan State in the 3rd quarter and won 37-34 after scoring 27 points in the 4th.  HC Lovie Smith was carried off the field by his players as they became eligible for their first bowl game since 2014.

    Wisconsin and Michigan State, impressive for a team that has been bad for so long. It's good to see because outside of Northwestern, the state hasn't seen many good teams in a long time. This should help recruiting. Good for Lovie too. I thought he got a raw deal on the way out of here.
