September 16, 2025Sep 16 comment_226661 He was a Pro Bowl LG in DET, then LAR tried to use him at Center and RG and it didn't work. Bears trade for him as a RG. Poles is really bad at his job. Making guys swap sides normally doesn't work out. Like try skateboarding with your opposite foot forward, you can do it and if you practice, you can get better, but it never feels natural. Report

I'm sure you meant Poles initially brought him in as LG, not LT. That being said, I agree. He would have been a solid addition as a LG, his more natural position.
