Welcome Back GMs! I just wanted to send out a early notice before the seasonal break before things ramp back up in a month. We will schedule the draft for the last week before the regular season kickoff (AUG 31st to SEP 7th).

I would like to have Keepers identified and dues submitted a week prior to that (by AUG 24) to give everyone some time to set their draft order knowing who is already taken. So once we set an exact draft date, I will also set the keeper and dues date at that time.

These were the keepers from last year, you cannot keep the same player in back-to-back seasons:

For keepers, the first keeper loses one round, so a guy picked in the 3rd last year would cost you your 2nd rounder this year. For the 2nd keeper, you would lose 2 rounds, so a 6th from last year loses you a 4th from this year. Keepers are optional. To qualify, they must have been drafted by you and on your final roster:

I will check with my friends that were in the league, I am pretty that Mike, Chad and me are back but will need a new body for Scott. He didnt pay his money and I paid it to not screw up the league .

I have played a ton of redraft leagues in the past, but never a Keeper League. I "MIGHT" be interested in filing an opening for a manager position, but would love to review your league's rules and the details of the team I would inherit before committing.

I once ran a redraft league for this site many years ago. It was a 12-team league, free to join, played for bragging rights only. (I never had a chance to brag. LOL) Interest in the league dropped, so it was unfortunately discontinued. I really enjoyed engaging in the competition with forum members.

I have been in this league since it started and Adam is the only I always notice off this thread. ( he seems to always win all the time)

Pix, this 10-man league started in 2010 and I joined in 2012. The "dues" are $75 with winnings:

1st - $440
2nd - $200
3rd - $75
4th - $35

The team you would assume finished in 2nd last year, so they would be picking 9th in a snake draft (so 9th, 11th, repeat). Here is their final roster:

We allow up to 2 keepers per season. They have to be drafted by you and on your final roster. The cost of the keeper is +1 round for the first keeper, and if you want a second one, that will cost +2 rounds. For example, if you wanted to keep Deebo Samuel and Jared Goff, Samuel would cost your 8th rounder, and Goff would cost your 10th rounder.

The league is a PPR league with the following roster spots: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, W/R/T, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR, IR. 2 flex, 7 bench, and 2 IR slots. Most of the scoring is traditional with bonuses for 100 yard rushing/receiving or 300 yard passing. Everything else is pretty standard stuff.

I finished in 5th last year. It was pretty competitive with the 6th place team winning the championship, and 9 out of 10 teams with a chance at making the playoffs in the last week of the season.
