April 28, 200916 yr comment_64060 Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs may have given himself an old-fashioned shaving injury while trying to get an old-fashioned shave. Briggs told autograph seekers at an appearance Saturday in Algonquin, Ill., that he cut his right hand while attempting to shave with a straight-edged razor. He made the appearance wearing a heavy wrap on his right hand, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Briggs has been taking part in the team's voluntary offseason workout program but did not attend Monday. A high-ranking club official said Briggs was expected to appear Tuesday, allow the team to examine the injury and explain what happened, according to the report. ESPN Non-story if you ask me, but you know a big deal will be made. Report

April 28, 200916 yr comment_64073 Yeah, someone probably used a "razor" to stab him...getting caught "shaving" money off his payment to his bookee. Or he could secretly be a superhero like Hellboy. ...OR, it's a fashion accessory like with Sasha Fierce. I'm not sure which. Report

April 28, 200916 yr comment_64080 I read in the Chicago Sun-Times that Lance Briggs cut his right hand while shaving with a straight razor and had a heavy wrap to cover the injury. How long do you think he will be out? Frank D. Chicago Lance Briggs is fine. Bears trainer Tim Bream examined the Pro Bowl linebacker Tuesday, and it's only a minor cut on his palm. Briggs participated in offseason workouts on Tuesday with a band-aid covering the cut. Report
