January 7, 201016 yr comment_75502 Other possibilities are Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements, if the Packers allow him out of his contract, and Falcons quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave Both have done exceptional jobs with young QBs. I also recall Clements being highly regarded. He could be a great option as well. Report

January 7, 201016 yr comment_75525 Also of note, the Bears have not yet contacted Mike Martz. Thank God If they bring in Martz Jay better have his life insurance up to date, that or provide him with a riot shield. If we don't shore up the line Martz system would definitely get Jay killed. 35 sacks and countless crushing hits this year was bad enough. There's only so much abuse the human body can sustain. Jay should get the purple heart for continuing to get up and go again. If anyone ever doubted his toughness they need look at this past season Report
January 8, 201016 yr comment_75583 Keep in mind Martz has never had a QB who could throw on the run out of the pocket the way Cutler can. The right OC can do a lot with that ability. Report
