He has shown improve over the last two years, and is viewed as a breakout type player.

Some website said he was their 12th best DE in 2011 and that he had 45 QB pressures last year. Also, Pete Prisco (CBS' lead douchebag writer) says Mincey was awesome in 2011.

Better than what is there now.... which is nothing...

The knock to some people, is that 5 of his 8 sacks came against the terrible Colts. The massive amount of pressures is a really good sign though.

 

Looking at his stats, he doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade over Idonije. I just hope we don't overpay for him. On the first day you typically overpay (See Campbell, Jason)
