Sporting News rated positions

Featured Replies

The Sporting News rated all positions(I didnt find QB yet), and here is where we stacked up. They only showed top 10

RB, Forte was 5th

WR, Marshall was 5th

QB, I didnt see that ranking, but know Cutler probably wont be listed in top 10

OL, I actually couldnt find any Bears listed, go figure

DE, Peppers was #1

DT, nope

OLB, Briggs was 7th

MLB, Urlacher was 4th

CB, nope.

Lovie Smith was ranked as the 9th best coach in League.

But I think in both cases, you can see them easily in the top five...

It should be Peterson.

That would go to Akers or Janikowski, IMO.

It should be Peterson.

I think a case could be made for Hester. He had a better average than Peterson. Also its widely accepted that he will not have another 4 TD return season. Not saying he couldn't but I wouldn't bet on it.

He the Bears defense should be better this year. And if they are better at the 3 and outs giving us good field position, Hester gets more chances to return the punts. This will make us better and yes he can break a few so I can yell my head off..go..go..go..go Touchdown!!! :cheers
