Is Podlesh the only immediate release?

Featured Replies

Dumping Podlesh was no surprise. What's surprising is that he was the only guy cut. If more are coming, why wait?

Other possible cuts include Michael Bush, Eric Weems, Peppers, and Earl Bennett. Are we going to wait to upgrade these positions? Make them go into training camp? I know Peppers has the June release date for cap reasons. Your thoughts?

To be honest, Emery just does not do things, as we see them, he has a plan, will sit back and be surprised.

With the 15th pick in the 6th round, the Chicago Bears select Tom Hornsey, Punter, Memphis.

If a player is not owed a roster bonus, there is no reason to cut him unless we have a replacement already on hand. If we cut Peppers now, the price on all DE's to the Bears would instantly rise because we would be in desperate need.

The Bears are doing this the right way, just give it time and moves will be made slowly but surely.
