  1. Past hour
  2. The Bears Special Teams is soooo bad still. On the 2nd to last punt, Duvernay was tackled by 7 defenders lol, with one Bear near him. What are the other 9 guys doing?
  3. How many INTs would this team have if they didn't hit each other? At least 3 more. Also, Jarrett held like crazy by the center, and still got pressure. How do they not call a hold when the center is behind Jarrett with his arms around his waist?
  4. Maybe says more about the NFL overall this year? No one really seems to be lighting it up this year…save Detroit.
  5. Yeah, this is the basis of my optimism that Caleb wont just be good but GREAT. Mediocre QBs are mediocre. Caleb is great on a lot of plays, and makes mistakes on others. Learning to eliminate mistakes is a lot easier than learning to be great. The numbers say we are pretty good - the eyes say we arent that good. That means there is tons of room for improvement, and that means exceptional is within our grasp.
  6. If Caleb is a little more accurate, especially on the move lately, and the receivers can cut down on the drops, this offense is probably the #1 offense in the league. They don't even feel like a top 5 offense right now, but they are.
  7. Red Zone offense stalls out…again. Cairo is getting a good workout in.🦶🏈
  8. And, of course, the Bears can't finish the knockout punch with a touchdown. Settling for another FG. Ben Johnson goes to Swift way too much. If he had Monangai in instead, they more than likely pick up that first down on the play before the 3rd down mess.
  9. and he's sooooo smooth running routes - and todays drops notwithstanding, he has really good hands.
  10. He obviously needs to concentrate on those catches today, but I think he is gonna be a real beast for us.
  11. Burden drops a critical pass to move the chains. Bears doing their best to keep Minnesota in the game.
  12. They are blitzing, and playing a lot of man, and the short routes arent open a lot. The Vikings are pressuring Caleb and leaving the deep throws one on one, betting that Calebs inaccuracy on the long ball wont hurt them, which has been true for a lot of the day. How to beat it? Run it down their throats and then throw on play action.
  13. 70% Blitz rate and the Bears are not doing anything to counter. Now Burden has turned into Oz, two drops today.
  14. Yet they call penalties on the Bears that are not even there, yet miss these. Luckily Santos didn't miss the FG, because that could've been even worse.
  15. Might help if there were more quick dumps underneath. A fair number of the pass attempts appear to be of the long range variety. Is he missing the reads? If all it takes to rattle him is a rush then don’t think the remaining defenses on the schedule won’t be deploying it.
  16. Potential knockout drive here if the Bears are able to come away with 7.
  17. the league will definitely fine him this week - but we wont get the first down.
  18. It literally changes the game, that would've been an automatic first down and could've led to a TD, burnt more clock too.
  19. I would like to have a special teams coverage unit that can just even be average? Gotta figure Hightower will be replaced before next year.
  20. Can anyone tell me why the league hates the Bears. Officiating is a joke. The official is looking right at the face mask and doesn't’t call it. Why do we always play against an extra player? We had a roughing the passer call in the first half which was less than several late hits on Caleb.
