  1. Past hour
  2. I watched one Packers podcast that he did the podcast for 30 minutes and forgot to turn his mic on. Don't know his name but he's on the NFC North roundtable group.
  3. Today
  4. Stafford played in a dome forever and then sunny CA. When you get old the cold weather hurts just a little more. It's not about the wide outs, it's taking down Stafford. I thought before we would be lucky to win against GB but I'm now a believer,we can beat anybody. Each week JJ plays a little better. Gordon is now getting reps and I think D Jackson is a better pass defender. Booker keeps playing better and Sweat plays better against better teams.
  5. I liken Caleb to being a great 3 point shooter but misses layups frequently. You can learn to hit the layups but being a great shooter is hard to find. What the hell will be the narrative if we make it to the super bowl? It might happen, some seasons just seem magical. Take away the drinking of coolaid and we have a great source of entertainment.
  6. So far this weekend I've watched a few playoff games. I haven't seen one QB I'd prefer to have over Caleb although I'd say Josh Allen is an even swap. Drake Maye...nothing much in 3 quarters, lots of bad passes. Justin Herbert...even less production in 3 quarters although I think his supporting cast is poor. The lIttle guy on the Panthers...nope. Brock Purdy is good but doesn't have the same arm strength as Caleb and quite honestly that's a factor in Soldier Field weather. Matthew Stafford is a great passer, can't run, but I'm also not going to swap the ascending QB for a guy who is likely to retire. I don't know why it is but for the last 2 seasons Mahomes has not looked like the elite QB he was in his first few seasons. Hurts...without a running game he's been exposed and cannot carry a passing game. I'm fully on board and expecting Caleb and this offense to hit another gear next year with better comp% and more consistency. Or is that first elite game still waiting for us this season?
  7. We can beat or lose to pretty much any of these teams. Its up to us.
  8. Rams haven't played good football, as of late. They barely beat a 7-9 Panthers team. Their defense stinks. The Bears should be able to move the ball well against them. However, those two receivers make them as scary an offense as there is in football. Nacua could break the all time single game yardage record, and I wouldn't be surprised. The Bears have nobody who can cover him. The road to a Superbowl for Chicago would likely mean they'd have to beat the Rams and Seahawks. Not getting my hopes up for this one, but let's hope for a snowstorm.
  9. Bears beat the Eagles in the regular season, and the Eagles beat the Rams.
  10. Yeah. I think of it like this: Some players are consistently mediocre. They never make amazing plays, and they dont make too many mistakes. Caleb is already elite on some throws, doing things no one else can do. But he is inconsistent on the more vanilla stuff. So which is the guy you want? I mean you can train ANY QB to get better at the regular things. You cant teach the elite qualities he already has. And as Caleb spends more time of COURSE hes gonna get better. I figure him for a top 5 QB next year. This offseason (which was only July) was teaching him footwork and how to play under center. Look where he's come! Next offseason is gonna be reading, identifying and defeating defenses in rhythm at a higher level. He's already shown a tremendous improvement in playing in rhythm for the first half of the season. So add being a functional regular QB to his skill set, and he is elite. Win a couple Superbowls and hes a Hall of Famer. Its not hard to see at all. Right now, he's not even good, but hes great, elite and special. And he is a winner. But he needs to get to good in the middle of the game, just running the regular offense.
  11. Rams won't be easy but it's going to be about our offense.
  12. 49ers pull the upset, wow Philly played terrible. Lazy. Rams @ Bears.
  13. Ugh, SF couldn't just go away and give the Bears a better shot at getting to the NFC Championship game. Beating the Rams is going to be a monumental challenge.
  14. I had two different posts about Braxton and the GM thing. I see where you got conflated.
  15. I don't know if anyone mentioned it but the defense showed up in the second half. Shout out to Sweat, he was all over the field in the second half. BJ gave him a game ball
  16. I want the worst coach. Pick your poison, I think Eagles.
  17. At this point, it doesn't matter who we play. Rams , because of weather, would seem to be more impacted. I look at coaches. Give me the worse coaches which is probably Eagles.
  18. Don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but the Bears are 3-1 against the packers in the last 4 games with them.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Damn, you're right (no surprise), I really screwed the pooch on that one (no surprise).
  21. Here we go. Well traveled, warm weather Rams playing at Soldier Field. This is going to be a shootout.
  22. That is the best part, this is all still a work in progress, but the things Caleb needs to work on are correctable; he has the things you can't teach. Next year, in Year 2 of the offense is when Goff took off, and I would expect the same thing from Caleb. If they can get a few impact players on defense, this will be a perennial playoff team with real Super Bowl aspirations every year.
  23. You are looking at the Rams offense, who only allowed 23 sacks. The Bears allowed 24. The Rams defense had 47 sacks, tied for 7th. Eagles had 42, tied for 12th. The Bears had 35. The Rams defense also had the 4th highest QB Pressure rate (26.3%), Eagles at 23.6% (13th). Rams defense also had 16 INT, Eagles only had 12.
  24. That's amazing, what a game to be at. That 4th and 8 to Rome was bonkers. The entire season riding on one, play, with pressure in his face, rolling left, throws a perfect pass 35 yards to Odunze who is circled by defenders.
