BJ values the center position and doubled down with as some say is the best center in the draft. With the picks we are seeing it tells me the Bears place more value with existing players than fans and pundits do. If they arent rushing for DEs and DTs it makes a statement. I have to give you credit for your prospect eye. Marlin Klein was the third TE off the board and most pundits had him rated around the 10th rated TE. You mentioned him a long time ago and the NFL agreed with you. Kudos to you.

I wouldn't be surprised if Poles was looking at Lucas, saw NEP leapfrog us to draft him, and decided he wasn't going to take a chance on losing Logan Jones. I'm Okay with taking him early.

I expected he'd try to trade back from one of the two 2nd Rd picks. Everytime I did that in a mock draft I always liked the picks I ended up with. We'll see how it goes. When I watched some of the hidden gems videos on da'tube, one thing about this draft is there are some lesser known names that are pretty good athletes at our need positions. I'm curious to see how this shakes out.

I expected he'd be a target for us but not that early. He seems to fit everything Ben likes in a center.

This sucks, Hill goes to TEN. There is no way the Bears will get a player like that with pick 69 and 144. This is a weak draft, moving back is a terrible idea. This really sucks

Bears trade back 9 spots to pick up an early 5th. Bad trade value for Bears there. 9 spots that early is worth a mid 4th, should have gotten a 5th and 6th for that move. Poles underwhelming me today.

Logan Jones, Center from Iowa is the pick, not a fan so early in the draft. Feels like a reach.

Who had Logan Jones C at pick 57? Love the player, not sure at 57, but they wanted to insure he was a Bear.

Yes, but he is a top CB and if the Bears feel he could return to form, they have a steal for late 2026 or 2027. Someone will gamble.

McCoy has injury concerns, so Hill seems like the choice.
