Just read this article, and I'm totally pumped for 13 personnel packages this year. Why Bears rookie tight end Sam Roush fits head coach Ben Johnson’s vision Great article on Roush, best I've read since we drafted him. Goes into a ton of detail on what to expect from him. Tough kid. Missed 1/2 of 1 practice the entire time at Stanford, and only because they forced him to leave the field with a temperature of 102. On an assigned chip block, he managed to "chip" his man so hard that he was propelled back into a DT, and he got 2 pancakes on one block. It details how we had great success running 13 personnel last year. I'm surprised BJ didn't call it more often. After reading this article, I have no doubt we will more than double the number of 13 personnel plays.

Glad to see Caleb working with WRs and Loveland outside of the facility. Burden, Jahdae, Odunze, and Loveland seem to be getting extra work in which is great to see. First at USC then at Northwestern.
  4. Then you add the lack of compensation for the Cunningham stuff and the recent scheduling, it seems that Goodell doesn't care too much for the McCaskeys. If you look at the bye weeks, the Bears have gotten shafted almost every year. They never get a favorable bye. Then when they had an international game, it was considered a home game, so they ended up with only 7 games at Soldier Field.

could be. whatever it is, he was just a brief squirrel in the yard

I think the Bears told him "sorry kid, it doesn't look good and if you recover, come back". They own his contact for 3 years. White can concentrate on rehab or another career.

LOL both of you. I think he realized he wasnt going to make the cut. And that's kinda weak. Maybe he realized he wasnt ready with his injury, and then he had no choice, not weak.

Kinda squirrelly if you ask me. Likely got caught doing something he shouldn’t have been doing.

So I guess Squirrel just quit. The Bears will retain his rights should he return to football, but for now he retired. So I guess he is fast in some things lol

AI is higher intelligence? I’m sorry but that statement alone shows how far people have already been misled.
  15. AI is slop, it is not a higher intelligence. Are we gonna shift our worshipping of authority from talking heads to AI now?

AIs cant start a channel, human hands are involved somewhere in the realm. Better yet, now we know what a higher intelligence thinks of the Bears Fans get emotional, AI doesnt.
  19. We are going to lose more than usual to other teams needing depth on their active rosters.
  20. Our practice squad this year is going to be deeper than years past. We should end up with several players who have contributed meaningful snaps in their careers.
  21. For so many years, many of us have pointed out examples of the NFL's bias against the Bears. From refs calling penalties against the Bears that were bogus. To the penalties committed by the opposition that the refs never called. And then they rob us of two 3rd round compensatory picks from the Ian Cunningham signing with Atlanta. There is an article on SI com that gives some interesting data to back up our claims: Link to article: Stunning NFL Penalty Data Suggests There is Bias Against the Bears It starts off wth this paragraph and then continues to break down the statistics. "The Chicago Bears have a league-worst -795 net penalty yardage gap since 2022. From missed Caleb Williams hits to the 'Bears Tax,' see the data that proves the NFL bias." An excellent read during a time we are starving fr Bears' info:

I was at the game. Last game of the season against Jacksonville. Taylor returned the ball from about the 20 to the 8 on the other end of the field. Near the end, he was looking for someone to hand it off to. It as a great moment. Peace
