  1. Past hour
  2. Since you decided to sling mud, I'll respond. The meme I posted was tongue and cheek. I've purposely not commented on anything you've commented on for this very reason. You are an overly sensitive control freak. You posting this new thread was simply an intro to your "I was right about DJ tour". Then you want to keep bringing me up. Sounds like I'm rent free in your oversized ego head space. And no, I never ever ever said that Braxton Jones was good. That's just your vagina cramping when someone disagrees with you. The only praise I gave him was that he was average and that he had a better camp than Ozzy. Anyway, f@ck you, you sensitive little bitch. The drunken wannabe has said his peace. I'll take my ban now.
  3. Today
  4. Our perception and the team's perception are sometimes very different. If you look at previous times that exact play was run, DJ never got the ball. So to me, it looks like he was never expecting it so he was "running" the route. Maybe the miscommunication was that he was getting the ball? Also, one other note about the play that doesn't get mentioned enough. That was a hell of a catch by the DB. He covered a ton of ground in those conditions, laid out full extension and held onto it. If our receivers did that more throughout the year, we probably have a few more dubs.
  5. According to my source, the Indiana General Assembly is putting the final touches on bringing the Bears to Indiana.(As we speak) Illinois can't act fast enough. Game over.
  6. I saw where Thuney won the award today, hope it wasn't just someone posting rumor as a fact. Harrison Graham posted it.
  7. A few people discussed it with you, me and Mongo let you know we want to move on, that's not fighting words.
  8. Yes but in the context of him being here or not, contract reconstruction what we could get for him, not who's to blame for the play we have discussed over and over.
  9. DJ made his comment TODAY, Justin is ancient history, and no one is gonna tell me what i can and cant talk about on a sports discussion board. I dont know what goes in in your heads that makes you think youre in charge LOL More like you saw that Pixote suspended me for a week (unfairly) and now you think you can get jabs in. Its dumb. I dont want to fight with you, but your weak attempts at bullying wont be tolerated either. Just say what you want about the Bears, and dont worry about what I choose to discuss. It's not really up to you. I dont know why youd think it was. If youre trying to rile me up tho, its not going to work. Youre just making it all really obvious.
  10. This is no slight against you, it's just a heated discussion that calmer minds will let to go to bed. You and Mongo are on the same side of the argument, he just thinks we have discussed the blame game enough. If you want to discuss, if we trade DJ, what can we get for him? but just because he made a comment it doesn't change anyone's opinion on DJs value. Then you explained who's at fault, that's the touchy part that stirs the pot. That would like me trying to present the argument, Fields is a good QB. It's history and history has shown he's not so why bother stirring the pot?
  11. then why even have a discussion board? man you guys are something. Were gonna talk ALL about the offseason, ALL during the offseason, right up until the preseason even though none of us is in the front office LOL Thats why this is talkbears, so we can talk Bears? Its OK. I think DJ is on the block. Maybe they will restructure him, but my gut says hes gone. Not like proof or anything, it could go either way, but I think hes gone.
  12. I was just going to mention that but you did it so elegantly. Everyone has established their opinions before, DJs comments doesn't change anything. The bears are going to do what they think is best for the team no matter what side of the discussion you take. Sit back and enjoy the movie 🍿
  13. when you cant stop the run, thats where you start!
  14. Yes fix the middle of the defense at all three levels
  15. For sure. We dont HAVE to do anything, but we can do what we want. Now the DL, that needs help Im sure you agree. And we will need a LB and probably a safety, maybe a CB too, but we need DT and Edge both.
  16. The best thing in all this saga is that we don’t have to do anything with DJ. I believe all options are on the table. Despite the occasional miscues our WR corps is still better with DJ. Can he become a means but which we can make the team overall better? Maybe but Poles can evaluate the options without desperation.
  17. Totally agree DJ wont get better than a 3, too bad but it is what it is. The question, to me, is what his value to the team is worth, vs opening opportunities for the other WRs to step up, and the message in terms of accountability. Obviously clearing $16M off the cap is really helpful too, but i dont know enough about contract restructuring to know what's possible in those scenarios if they do want to keep him. Ive heard some pretty crazy claims about how low the numbers might be from the TTNL guy Cars who is really good with this stuff, but I dont understand how its possible with only one void year? But again, I dont really understand that stuff that well. I do think there is going to be a lot of activity this offseason, especially on the defense. At least 4 new starters, maybe more.
  18. If the Bears do trade him, it will be for a 3rd or 4th rd pick. The dream scenarios of landing Crosby takes a lot more work to fit his salary that will need to be done ahead of time since the league cannot accept the trade if it puts the Bears over. Plus they need a plethora of Safeties and inside D-linemen. So I see a 3rd at best and maybe use that created cap on another Edge (Mack?)
  19. totally agree. I used to think it was keep him or trade him, but now I think maybe they can restructure him to a number that is more commensurate with his productivity and value. I wouldnt mind seeing him gone for the half assed effort tho. Hes definitely a talented player, and great with the ball in his hands after the catch like a running back, but Luther Burden is too, and I think Ben is building a culture of accountability. I wouldnt be surprised if he is gone, but it wouldnt be a total shock if they keep him at a lower cap number. My gut says hes gone, but it's not an obvious answer I guess.
  20. I am good with keeping him if they can get his contract renegotiated. I would have a talk and let him know hes either getting traded or renegotiating. Give him performance bonuses to encourage excellence. The Bears need cap, re-haul the defense, and have many talented players to feed, so he is the first contract eyes are on.
  21. Yesterday
  22. Youd like that. Its what you actually want, and then to play hurt feelings and blame me LOL how pathetic. I'm just gonna keep it to the Bears. You can do whatever you think makes you look good or whatever the hell youre trying to do. This is all so cringey. Grow up dude.
  23. well thats rude, and not much of an argument. DJ Moores comment came out today, so I was adding that to the discussion. Keeping him or trading him is one of the biggest questions of the offseason, and that's just starting, so i think its fine for me to talk about DJ Moore. Seriously, try not to be a jerk if you can? Ive kinda had it with being the bad guy in your little drama. Do uyou remember why you hate me? It's because you said Braxton Jones was good and i said I saw stuff on tape that discounted that. Then you said because you played Offensive Line, I shouldnt have an opinion on it. When I said I would continue to have opinions anyway you declared I was your enemy. So please, grow up. Lets talk about football? This hurt feelings business is getting out of hand on here. I'll continue to talk about the Bears however I want to, and without needing your permission. Thanks.
  24. So now we have heard from both Caleb and DJ Moore about tht pass where the Rams intercepted the ball. Both called it a miscommunication. That means it wasnt an errant throw by Caleb. And sure DJ jogged the last part of the route, but even if he had run full speed, he wouldnt have made it to the ball the way he was going. I think this proves what the analysts said about DJ should have broken his route sooner, underneath the coverage. Hes made that mistake before too - in the Packers game where the ball was intercepted in the left front of the end zone. And another time, when we have film of Caleb yelling at him to undercut the safety. So this wasnt a one off, but a consistent error made over and over. What to do about it is debatable, but the issue is clearly true.
  25. Last week
  26. no kidding. the whole thing is a farce anyway.
  27. However, if he does move onto another GM position that does have responsibility, ATL gets 2 comp picks. That is what makes this whole thing absurd. Either give picks to everyone or no one.
