  1. Past hour
  2. OK, I will take a look, and I stand corrected on the keeper round cost: The first keeper is one round, and if you keep a second, that one costs two rounds. The only exception is if that you are keeping 2 players that would give up the same pick (like a 5th and a 6th both would require your 4th rounder), so in that case it gets swapped and you have to give up a 3rd and a 5th instead (for that example).
  3. I will try to look it up, I don't know what Yahoo did, but they messed it up big time.
  4. McCarthy will be making his first NFL start, on the road, season opener, on MNF. Here is how the other QBs did in their first start: Daniels 17-24, 184 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT - Loss Williams 14-29, 93 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT - Win Maye 20-33, 243 yds, 3 TD, 2 INT - Loss Penix 18-27, 202 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT - Win Average of 180 yds, 0.75 TD and 0.75 INT. So McCarthy throwing for 180 with 1 TD and 1 INT is probably the bar. Unless their running game goes off, that won't be enough for a win. I am revising my score to 24-17, Bears get 3 tuddies and a short Santos kick, Vikings get 1 passing, 1 rushing TD, and a FG. I would bracket Jefferson, and force McCarthy to beat them with his 2nd or 3rd read.

  6. If you two want to waste your time trolling me ,go for it.
  7. I said that in my previous post, I added the LT after you mentioned it.
  8. The problem is I dont remember which one was my keeper, the new list doesnt show it and the other post shows a bunch of keepers. I think it was T Hill/WR or K Williams/RB I looked back at 2023 and the only common player was K. Williams, I think it has to be him.

  10. I just need to go back and make sure we don't have back to back keepers as they were drafted if you kept them last year, and are ineligible this year.
  11. This shows the teams and the draft picks from last year a little easier: https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/140564/lastseason
  12. It is a sliding scale, so it is 1-round for the first keeper, but if you want 2 keepers, the first one will cost you an extra round. So in your case, it would be a 6th round for #78 (which was an 8th rounder in 2024) and a 10th for #103, which was an 11th in 2024.
  13. right, because you quoted him before your response. now you claim you were answering a different earlier point to weasel out of what you said, but that doesnt fly because the comment you were replying to was quoted by you ahead of your response. Also, I think you mean to use quotation marks around the word "but" and not parenthesis?
  14. Here is the definition of (but), I'll let you two figure it out.. used to indicate the impossibility of anything other than what is being stated.
  15. they get paid to help the Chiefs all season long, so they have to practice it in preseason LOL
  16. was there a flag thrown on that one? if not, keerhist sakes, what are these refs getting paid for?
  17. you seriously dont think we need an edge player?
  18. but you yourself quoted the comment you were responding to...
  19. I agree. I didnt mean it was a clean play, I was just marveling at the effort.
  20. I seen where we get to keep a 54 man roster because Tory Taylor is Australian and gets a exception. Also they put DB Shawn Wade and RB Deion Hankins were put on IR. I expect a few to go as a injury designation to keep on the team. Case Keenum has an injury now, I wonder if they put him on short term IR to keep him here.
  21. I agree. The Football Scout changed his format because he now has scouting contracts with agents and others. I always have the fast forward button at the ready.
  22. So that will be selecting by being the higher draft pick? I was going to keep 78 and 103, so the 78 would be the lost two rounds? Or can I just list 103 first?
  23. I like this one a lot better, the other one, the guy talks to much. Nice with the repeat plays.
  24. I have no idea why the last draft is showing like that. There is a new designation setting for keeper status, and it looks like it believes all of last season's players are "keepers". Just ignore and apply the same rules as we did in previous years. Up to 2 keepers, if you have one, you lose the round before (so drafted in 4th, you lose a 3rd). If you select 2 keepers, the first player you lose two rounds (drafted in the 4th, you lose a 2nd, and the 2nd player you lose one round.
