This clearly bled over into this week. I think Lovie was concerned with not have timeouts at the end of the game two weeks in a row and held back on challenging the qb sneak. Also, can anyone tell me why the ball was spotted on the 1 after the Bennett play. It was clear that even if he didn't get in the endzone it should have been on the 1 foot or in line. Thoughts? 1. Cutler was bad, DO NOT get me wrong. But like Connor compared using the timeouts like an idiot last week bled over to this week, I think that NY game will forever be in the back of his mind. Every time he drops back, he's more than likely thinking he's going to get hit. Excuse? Yes. Viable excuse? Perhaps.. 1b. Also, this offense will continue to sputter as long as the WR's and Cutler aren't on the same page. Knox is an alright WR and all, but as long as he continues to drop 2-3 passes a game, he'll never be much more. 2. I thought the defense played terrific. I am in the Air Force and stationed overseas. AFN, the broadcasting network for the Armed Forces, has a Viewer's Choice where we pick the game seen overseas. For the last 3 weeks, Bears' fans stationed overseas have been stuck watching the Saints against the Bucs and Browns. Right now the Saints are winning again and I can't take it!!! What I ask of my fellow Bears' fans is go to AFN Fan's Choice and vote for the Bears vs Bills. This would allow all the Bears' fans serving our country to watch them. So.. first let me say hey fellas.. it's been a while.. So I was reading an article on the tribune site and there was mention of Todd Collins being elevated back to #2 over Caleb Hanie.. I nearly lost my cheerios and had to find a place to vent! I have never ever been so disgusted with a Bears coaching staff than I have with this one, and the Bears had some extreme losers at the helm over the past 18 years or so.. I'm no fan of Cutler, although I still can see why they would stick with him. However, Collins is an NFL reject that had about 1/2 a season of success in a 16 year career.
