I have no doubt over half the members who post here will be moaning and groaning, some totally ballistic, about the Bears selections. Happens every year, we all have our favorites, guys we want drafted, but unfortunately they are seldom selected. I just hope this year we can keep it all in perspective and give Emery a chance to prove his worth without making rash judgements saying he is a failure because he did not pick who we want and making selections he feels will be best for the Bears, this year and the future.

Hey it is still a slow period. Who would you take, I say the best 3 options are AP. Jarret Allen, Kahil. Make a choice. As for me I think Kahil would be a bookend OT for 8 to 10 years with Carimi. Even though he hasnt played a down in the NFL yet, is upside is great.

I know I have been absent but with training camp going I'm back too!!!!!! Lets get this forum going!!!! It seems there is not much coming out of camp right now. Maybe its from the Olympics going on. I need some more info!!!!!!

Desmond Bishop went down holding his knee and couldn't put any weight on it. McCarthy said postgame that they'll be "lucky" if it's nothing serious. (Bishop led the Pack in tackles last year)

1. The offense is still a work in progress. Cutler just wasn't on the same page with the WR's + Forte. 2. Forte and Bush had no lanes to run through. 3. Jeffery had a TD drop with Cutler and a 1st down drop with Campbell. That's unacceptable. For as much heat as McClellin takes, Jeffery was just as unimpressive yesterday. 4. The defense has only given up 3 TD's in 2 games. Prior to the year, everyone had this as the Bears weakness. Positives: -Peppers has been really good. -Melton has 3 sacks already. -Wooton has been solid. -McClellin is on pace for 12 sacks. -Briggs is still really good and Tillman hasn't lost a step. -Jennings...Pro Bowl? Negatives: -Paea hasn't done much. -DJ Moore seems like he's regressed. -Conte still isn't healthy, it doesn't seem. -Urlacher still isn't 100% and it's showing a bit. So, more pros than cons.

I had this penciled as a possible loss on the road to 3 and 1, but the Cutler backlash could be something that separates a loss from a lOOOOOSSSS. If we dont win on sunday and the media devils continue to churn this story ( thanks DJ Moore). Do we panic? The Rams could have been 2 and 0 but so could have all the teams.

Might be a nice option and bring in someone in the draft.

The Bears are one of eight teams eligible to be forced to be on Hard Knocks. So if no team wants it, HBO/NFL gets to choose one of those eight teams. That would easily be the Bears. Aside from the fact we are the biggest single team market. Angles include Jared Allen, The Black Unicorn, Cutler/Kirsten Cavalleri, Peanut . . . that would be huge. I know the Bears would hate it and management would so no. But I'd love it. I'm currently not an HBO subscriber but I'd sign up to see that.
