Hey guys I'm going to be on vacation during this week and brought idea of going half joking up with the wife. Surprisingly enough she likes the idea. It would be 1st game my boys would be attending. So I'm asking if anyone has tickets or knows someone that wants to sell. Would be looking at either needing 2 or 4. 4 would be best as we could all attend as a family. Thx guys

Just saw Tommie Harris in last nights episode of Criminal Minds on DVR. The good part is, he really sucks at acting. So, he'll have more time to focus on earning his pay check.

Jacobs was the consensus #1 RB coming out, but then there was the group of Sanders, Henderson, Montgomery, and Singletary all lumped together as 2nd-3rd rounders. The last 3 came off the board within 5 picks of each other in the early 3rd round and Sanders went #53 in the 2nd (17 before Henderson). So thru Week 5, here is what they look like: Sanders 54-193, 3.57 YPC, 0 TD, 10-133, 0 TD Henderson 1-0, 0 TD Montgomery 69-225, 3.26 YPC, 2 TD, 9-72, 0 TD Singletary 10-127, 12.7 YPC, 1 TD, 5-28, 0 TD Singletary has only played in two games but has had 7 runs of 10 yards or longer. The fact that he only has 10 carries and has only played in two games is co…

Per 670, Urlacher won't take one year deal at 2 million and the Bears are moving forward.

I hate to get too weird on you guys and I know this is not Bears or even football related, but what happened in Connecticut yesterday to those kids is tragic. God bless those people

  11. Rodgers deal with Packers is five years, $110 million, highest salary in NFL history. Rodgers average of $22 million tops the $20.1 million the $20.1 million Ravens' Joe Flacco received earlier this year. https://twitter.com/TomSilverstein The Packers now have $35 million/yr tied to 2 players (Rodgers/Matthews) for the next 5 years. They take up almost 30% of their cap space, and will take up over 25% of the cap space for the next 5 years (assuming the cap rises).

If there was ever a time to get on a hot streak, it's now. With the news of Brees' injury, I would be shocked if he was back in 5 weeks for our game. They have a Week 9 Bye, so it would make sense to target his return no earlier than Week 10. That makes our next 7 games extremely favorable. Week 3 - at Washington (Win, Guice out, bad defense) Week 4 - vs Minnesota (Win, Cousins looks worse than Trubisky, outside of Cook, offense not doing too much) Week 5 - at Oakland (in London, Win, Mack will singlehandedly win this game for us) Week 6 - Bye Week 7 - vs New Orleans (w/o Brees, at home, Win) Week 8 - vs Los Angeles Chargers (LAC not a good road team, Win…

  14. On NFL.com there is an article that Miami has cut Isaiah Wilson whom they received from Tennessee in a recent trade. Wilson was a 1st pick with Tennessee and his draft profile projected him as a RT prospect. Wilson might be claimed well before the Bears can pick him up at 20 but there seems to be some character issues such as not attending meetings. There are some issues with the police but if the culture in the building is as fantastic as Pace and Nagy say could this help Wilson get back on track. Wilson must be as good or better as Germaine Ifedi so worth a punt. Probably signs with the Patriots as becomes a quality starting RT.

Tennessee (17) Palmer will come out of slump against Tennessee, plus the problems that Vince Young has been having recently. Buffalo (10) The RB dual will have trouble with a lack of the OL for Jacksonville, but the god-awful defense on the Bills can't stop them regardless. Oakland (17) JaMarcus Russell showed yesterday that he wasn't ready for a win, and I believe that this week will be no different. Especially with the way that the Oakland OL looked, and with Dorsey pushing hard for KC, I expect an easy win for KC. Minnesota (17) > Indianapolis (14) With Indy's recent troubles, and how badly they looked and played against the Bea…

  16. The Bears lost Tuesday's practice because they apparently exceeded the amount of contact activity earlier in the offseason. Two views on this right now. One is the team is setting the new tone and culture at all costs and losing one non-contact practice is worth the price to have contact earlier in the offseason. On the flip side, this is the second public mishap by the new regime, first the Larry O contract (which potentially prevented the signing of another top FA) and now this.

To whom it may concern. I quit with cable or Direct TV several yrs ago. I just have the internet and an antenna . I do a couple streaming services. The only NFL games I dont get are on ESPN. Last yr I subscribed to NFL+. It was 40 a year and I got every primetime games, and access to non area games on all devices but not TV. This yr NFL+ premium for 80 a yr allows you to watch the NFL network, The RedZone and access to all games being played on all devices plus TV. Can watch all games in reruns and access to all 22 narrative games. I use to pay 140 a month, now my TV and internet with a couple streaming services is 60 a month. 80 for the yr seems like a good deal for me…

  19. my thoughts are this... we decided as a franchise this was the time to go for that franchise qb. we had the draft slot this year to do so. waiting for another year guarantees nothing. we could pick in the middle of the draft. the qb class next year is uncertain. even if there is a can't miss qb 'ready to start' how in the world would we be able to move up to get him? in all likelyhood he would go #1 without a trade option. that leaves us looking at a qb of much lower ratings and having to trade up to get him anyway. by picking trubinsky we got the best qb prospect in the draft this year with real potential to be a star in chicago. we also have the luxery of not…
