Looks like this is going to be a tough contest this year. 2 weeks with lots of games left, a lot of entrants with some very impressive scores. As of the end of week 2 - 58.1% is 12th place. That winning percentage usually will take first place by the end of the year in previous year results.

Jacobs was the consensus #1 RB coming out, but then there was the group of Sanders, Henderson, Montgomery, and Singletary all lumped together as 2nd-3rd rounders. On NFL.com there is an article that Miami has cut Isaiah Wilson whom they received from Tennessee in a recent trade. Wilson was a 1st pick with Tennessee and his draft profile projected him as a RT prospect. Wilson might be claimed well before the Bears can pick him up at 20 but there seems to be some character issues such as not attending meetings. There are some issues with the police but if the culture in the building is as fantastic as Pace and Nagy say could this help Wilson get back on track. Wilson must be as good or better as Germaine Ifedi so worth a punt. Probably signs with the Patriots as becomes a quality starting RT.

my thoughts are this... we decided as a franchise this was the time to go for that franchise qb. we had the draft slot this year to do so. waiting for another year guarantees nothing. we could pick in the middle of the draft. the qb class next year is uncertain. even if there is a can't miss qb 'ready to start' how in the world would we be able to move up to get him? in all likelyhood he would go #1 without a trade option. that leaves us looking at a qb of much lower ratings and having to trade up to get him anyway. by picking trubinsky we got the best qb prospect in the draft this year with real potential to be a star in chicago. we also have the luxery of not…
