@vxmcclure23: Bears had offered a two-year contract to Bell with about half mil guaranteed. Could still negotiate that deal or be set with $1.26 million. @vxmcclure23: $1.26 million tender for Bell. @vxmcclure23: Bears tender restricted free-agent RB Kahlil Bell.

Saints signed OG Ben Grubbs, formerly of the Ravens, to a five-year, $36 million deal. The deal includes a $10 million signing bonus, and $16 million "fully guaranteed." Grubbs provides the Saints a soft landing after they lost LG Carl Nicks to the Bucs, but at a surprisingly steep cost. Grubbs landed just $11.5 million less total money, and will average roughly $2 million less per season. Grubbs graded out as Pro Football Focus' sixth-best left guard in 2011, but Nicks was significantly better in both run and pass blocking. Nicks is also more than a year younger. The Ravens will likely now focus on signing free agent Evan Mathis to replace Grubbs. http://espn.g…

I have read that Lovie has visited Georgia to see Hill early in the month and now reads he went to see Bruce Irwin/DE/West Virgina. Is there any other players anybody knows we have got to together with.

The best out of division opponents for this year are SF, HOU, DAL, and TEN, and none of those are really scary teams. 11-12 wins seems fairly reasonable to me. Home Seattle Seahawks St. Louis Rams Houston Texans Indianapolis Colts Carolina Panthers Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings Away Arizona Cardinals San Francisco 49ers Jacksonville Jaguars Tennessee Titans Dallas Cowboys Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings

According to NFL Network Drew Stanton has taken his "Dougie" to Indy. Terms of the deal have not been announced.

When you look at what we have done so far to the team....we have basically just filled the holes we had last year that lead to our 8-8 record. Backup QB, RB the positions that went down last year that hurt the most (we got better at the two spots), we signed two CB to fill in for Bowman and Graham (i think we got better there too)we got Weems and Thomas to fill in for Hurd and maybe Knox. We got the Beast (Marshall) to take the place of R.Williams. Now we lost two DT and a saftey. So reason will have us taking those postions in the draft. This is what I see us doing....getting the best players at the position of need. I dont think we go OT/OG in the first but maybe the th…

We want BPA in the draft for a change, we want a player who can contribute in 2012. I may disagree with some of the assessments in this article but I love the way it is presented. http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/09000d5d828...HP11_hot_topics

I have read an article about Jared Crick /DE/Neb. He had two productive years until last year when he tore his pictoral muscle. As a 3rd round pick he could be a great valve, since they say he had a first round grade until his injury. Also he could slide in to the 3 tech tackle spot as he has played inside before. Andre Branch/Clem/DE in 2nd or 3rd. High production senior season, long armed, non stop motor. good speed. Jack Brequette/AR/DE at a 4 th or 5th rounder has good size, non stop motor, stength and 10 sacks senior season.

Don't quit your day job! He sang the 7th inning stretch and sounded as if he was tone deaf. He also mentioned that he originally wore number 85 his rookie year and changed to 80 because he liked Jerry Rice and he felt 80 fit him better. Since he was basically redshirted his rookie year I never remember him wearing 85.

  16. I have digested so much information, I need to make some comments before my hair turns completely blonde, and I become confused. I think the Bears want to draft a DE in the first round, with choices in order,Coples,Ingram,Merculis,Jones, Perry. There should be one of them there at that spot, so what will change that. If Reiff drops, I think they like him a lot and will draft him, leaving DE for the second round. Choices for second round: Branch, and Curry, I think in this situation they take Branch. The possiblity exists Jones may drop so he would be the choice. If Cox or Brockers drops, I think stong possiblity exists they grab one of them, and go back…

Below is a list of the teams we play and what they have done in the draaft so far. By looking at their team and these new players who do you think will give us the most proplems this year? I think the Packers, 49ers, Rams and the Cowboys might be the ones that give us a run for our money. Arizona Cardinals No. 13: Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd. No. 80: Oklahoma cornerback Jamell Fleming. Picks left (5): 112, 151, 177, 185, 221. Carolina Panthers No. 9: Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly. No. 40: Midwestern State guard Amini Silatolu.
